Over 90 billion dollars and the first stage is Fresno to Madera.....There is no reason to even drive to either one. I mean Fresno????? Now add to the fact that Frankenswein's husband is gonna make billions of this shit...someone must have fed Ass Clown Jerry Brown some pot brownies again...I hope they take the first ride and the piece of junk derails at about 200 miles an hour.

FYI my kid landed in Franklin Park, NJ. Seems like a pretty nice area. I'm not happy about him going to Union City and Newark making sales calls though. Hopefully when he gets his own sales territory it will be in a better area.
What does he sell? The areas of both those cities vary greatly, and his product will make a difference where he goes.
Union City is largely Cuban, and has nice areas, Newark isn't all slum, and has much industry/commercial business, as well as arts and culture, even a minor league baseball team.
He sells office supplies.
Then it's not too likely he'll be working in the real bad areas.
I don't know, but last time I was in Mojave was on a 4-wheeling trip. It was so windy one guy opened his door and it blew it past the hinge stop and flattened it on his fender and the flat roof over the pumps at the gas station was moving so much I was wondering when it was going to take off into orbit.
They will spend $35 billion just on studies to determine if they should go with steam or diesel powered locomotives. Greenpeace is torn, because steam, while greener than diesel, would require the use of wood or coal, which makes them go absolutely apoplectic.
High speed trains might be a good thing in CA, the news showed a truck getting hit by a slow train in CA the other day, and the high number that get hit every year in CA
