  I think that everyone was at fault.

  The hostess and DJ for putting the information online and not abiding by the rules. The white lady for insulting and inciting a fight, the black lady for actually fighting instead of keeping her cool, the security guards for not keeping the peace, the teens for not obeying and for mouthing off, the cop for loosing his shit and not keeping his cool and act professionally.

  • I still don't see where the cop did anything wrong. I keep hearing about how rough he was on the girl but all I see in the video is a girl resisting arrest and that's what happens when you resist arrest: the cop puts you on your stomach and puts his knee on your back so he can get the cuffs on you. There isn't even any ALLEGATION by the girl or her family that she suffered any kind of injury. All in all, considering what she did and the moron who acted in such a manner as to prompt the drawing of guns, she's damn lucky to have no injuries. This could have been far uglier.

    • There was a big ass fat white man that was all around the cop he was fully dressed, he could have had a gun, the cop didn't mind him, but did mind the black girl because she was mouthing off, she obviously had no weapon on her.

      He was having a bad day, he had tripped and probably hurt himself and was loosing his shit. He didn't act professionally. It is as simple as that. Everyone else takes fault too.

      • But the clips show the fat guy trying to move people back away from the cop. All in all, I think this was a big fail on everyone's part, but only the cop is getting crucified. Would anyone have been happier if he had tazed a bunch of kids to get control? Lots of Monday quarterbacking going on here.

        • A professional cop would have asked the fat ass to sit his ass down and stop "helping" and let him do his/their job.

          I think it is important for everyone to realize that this was a screw up from beginning to end and this was before that cop showed up, however his behavior did not help the situation get better and if people can't even admit to that they are not being honest.

• The woman that started this whole thing was fighting with a white lady who may have called her something racist and that is why she hit the fat white lady... but she put this entire situation online asking for people who didnt belong there to come and she was probably asking for money from them. They went there to heard some DJ that likes to charge people to come and hear him. A lot of people made a lot of mistakes and it got out of control.

• A black man from the community has stated that the clip only shows a tiny portion of what happened. He said the reason for the problem the kids were trying to get into a restricted admission neighborhood pool. That they were black was irrelevant. Some 100 kids were trying to force theirway into the pool. They ignored the pool security. Enter the police. I think the guy resigned because he went though this before. All charges were dropped, but he was on the griddle for a couple if years. Guess he figured it wasn't worth it again.

  • By resigning, he is able to be hired elsewhere. Maybe he can find a non-PC department, that actually will let him police, and not be called a racist for it.

• This is another one where I side with the cop. Completely. Some web site had a sequential series of pics showing why he pulled his gun: a guy ran up behind him and to his right and reached behind himself like he was going for a gun, the officer saw it out of the corner of his eye and pulled his own gun, the troublemaker then ran away with another cop in pursuit, whereupon the officer reholstered his weapon. That's a completely different scenario than what the news media has been describing. And it's important to remember these kids did not belong there and when asked to leave started a mini riot. Even the girl who gets arrested in the video, who he's being accused of being too rough on, got damned with faint praise by her friend who said she shouldn't have been treated so rough but "she was kind of mouthing off." Here's your lesson little girl: mouth off at the cops in the middle of a riot and you're liable to be treated poorly.

    I was beginning to think I was the only one who saw things that way.
    The girl was being mouthy and defiant. The 2 guys that ran up on him from behind absolutely gave him justification to pull his weapon.

      • Yea, I saw this today. If I were him, I would wear this as a badge of honor. I'm tired of listening to people vilifying the cop for pulling his gun, as if he had pulled it on her.
        I will say it one more time, those 2 punks ran up on the cop from behind. He had no idea what they were doing, or if they were armed. He reacted appropriately, and when he was no longer under threat of harm, he holstered his gun and went back to tending to the mouthy, arrogant, girl.
