”Sixty percent of Milwaukee’s black voters have disappeared.” Obama voters seem to be disappearing. NPR attributes it to the collapse of the housing bubble – foreclosed former homeowners moving to other places. We wonder if there could be other explanations… after all, ACORNs usually don’t fall far from the tree, do they?

They haven't disappeared, they were just "redistributed" to voting districts where they were needed.
Why were they looking specifically for black voters? Sounds suspiciously like racism to me.

This, however, illustrates a very important fact. As the government is numbering and filing and collecting information on the rest of us, there is a whole subclass of people who fly under the radar. They move around with impunity, working the system. They use addresses of the moment - the baby mama du jour, or the sister's or the cousin's crashpad. They are unfindable and invisible. (Ever watch First 48? It can take months to find a suspect, and then 9 time of 10 it's because they get arrested for something else.)
So, the productive members of society are under close watch, and the nonproductive are free to crawl around like roaches with no watchful eye on them. There is something extremely wrong with this picture!
Don't get me wrong - I am no fan of government tracking it's citizenry, but it seems to me that IF they are going to do it, they should be tracking the troublemakers, not the law-abiding folks.
Nut law abiding people are so EASY! They never think the government is after them, so they document EVERYTHING from their hometowns to their address changes, to the new number thy got after switching phones and carriers.
We are the low hanging fruit and if the government continues to pass nuisance laws, it will find a way to make us all criminals and subject to fines and liens and who knows what else.

I live in the suburbs of Milwaukee and I assure you that 60% of its black voters haven't disappeared. Hard times may have produced a lot of apathy in the inner city community. But, dead or alive, they'll be voting this November, in fact, some may vote twice, the Democrat machine will see to that.
If you live in Waukasha, I'll be pissed. I was there on July 3 & 4 for Summerfest. I stayed at the Ramada on Moreland off of I94 & exit 297. We could have gone out for lunch or golf.
