I agree with what she said. It is also very philosophical and in many ways Judeo-Christian in nature. At SOME point people have to grow up and start eating mature/solid food. What the liberals give is always meant to undermine and control people. There should be hundreds of thousands of Ben Carsons, Hermann Caines, Stacey Dashes, Condoleeza Rices, etc... it should be actually very very normal. Nobody is astounded that a White person is a brain surgeon, but a Black man?! What?! Why? why the astonishment? Of COURSE there are brain surgeons who happen to be Black. But because people are truly limiting themselves due to the bewitchment of the Progressives/Liberals that is why there is astonishment at something that really there should be no astonishment about.
When the democrats were unleashing the dogs while the republican MLK was fighting the democrats hatred of them IMO his fight was all for nothing. A lost cause.

I was born and raised in Bronx, N.Y. When my eyes opened I was outer there on the first smoking bus to a conservative state where my votes, my rights, and I mattered.
although I do believe and see a shift in the wind with the opening of the eyes of the Blacks, that shift is moving way to slow to matter when it's most important.
Just think folks and I'm not hearing it enough in this campaign but the next president is going to have the honors in selecting 3 or 4 SCOTUS due to their ages. Think about that and say it out loud to yourself.
All Presidential elections are very important but IMO this one will be the most important on in my lifetime.

I kind of wondered the same thing kiddo. I'm 62 and it has been a long time since I have heard anyone refer to someone as "the blacks" or "the indians" or "those Mexicans". I thought that kind of thinking went out with my grandmothers generation. Then again I have never understood why anyone would want to be called African-American, Native-American or Hispanic-American either. I always thought we were just Americans, just folks like anybody else.

I agree that with the times comes changes that SEEM favorable for everyone and African-American is better than Negro or Colored or the uglier alternative... BUT all that it CONTINUES to do is to separate instead of unite. It is true that we are US people and that should be enough, even though we can of course continue to laud our heritages.
The concept of race is completely messed up anyway. As far as Earth is concerned there is only two races.. animals and humans, but in truth all animals and humans will be considered Earthlings or Earth creatures. I guess it is part of the game of life for humans to want to be more different than alike. It is at the very least, unfortunate.

Thanks Rose, that is all it was. We as Conservatives/Libertarians/Independents are free to express ourselves, but our philosophies and our way of life come with responsibilities. Especially in this day and age and especially in open world wide forums such as these. I am sure that most of us will understand what I mean by that. I certainly didn't mean any disrespect writing instead of talking does come with its disadvantages, but certainly I was making allowances for a serious age gap. It is not uncommon for elders to say the world "colored" or terms like "the Blacks" or "the Orientals" without a thought. More than anything I was curious.
First thing is I never called or even mention she was a racist. If you go back and read I stated "Oh by the way you forgot to call me a racist". "Me" being the key word.
Second she did the attacking stating "how old are you? 80". She kind of sounded like the clown at the circus guessing ages.

Now that I have had time to review your statement more, I just want to make an observation you had nothing positive to say about Ms. Dash per se, just negative generalizations about "the Blacks" yet, Ms. Dash obviously doesn't fit that. I guess she wasn't deserving of any praise for not fitting the mold of the typical Black liberal, you (and many others like myself) clearly disparage. It was more important to disparage "the Blacks" and not just in this here thread either. You do that at every opportunity though. You may not be a racist, but you DO have a very negative view of "the Blacks". That doesn't mean racism, just dislike. Your own words show it. I prodded and the truth essentially came out. If you were an old man it would be understandable. Elders get a bit of a pass. It is hard to shake off decades of stupidity. But you claim you aren't... Can't blame you entirely I guess, since Obama is a very dark skinned representation of what is going on with the country... so disliking other dark skinned people is part of the course for CERTAIN people, but let's face it, he is backed by very many light/pale skinned people and he won the Presidency TWICE due to the action AND inaction of very many light/pale skinned people.
