Why do I keep thinking about Time Bandits?

What they don't tell him is how useful he is getting into confined spaces...God forgive me, all I can think of are some of the bad jokes that must surround this.
The man's got more balls then any politician I can think of.

I am old school . I believe that the best qualified people should be hired for any said job . Especially for a public safety position.
If Vince Brasco is as qualified as the other applicants , more power to him . On the otherhand , if someone is NOT hired in favor of a LESS qualified , just so someone can have a feel good feeling , not so good.
Now I must say , in my own life , I've had ( have ) great challenges to overcome over the years . For whatever I've done , in spite of what others see or think , I've MADE the teams in sports and was hired based on my ability , inspite of things . I was AS qualified as other workers and the challenges that were laid before me , made me a better , definetly harder worker . When I tried out for sports I wanted to make it , BECAUSE I made the team .
