STARBUCKS BARISTAS STOP WRITING ‘RACE TOGETHER’ ON COFFEE CUPS

• Saw this posted on another site by an Army Major about the #RaceTogether stuff:

  It happened to me this weekend. I had a chance to stop and get a Starbucks! I had forgotten about their new campaign, where their baristas offer to enter into a discussion about racial issues in America with you, the customer; but Lisa, my friendly 20 year-old blonde barista, was undaunted, and offered to enter this vast minefield with me. "Lisa," I began, "What if I were to tell you, of an opportunity to meet and interact with a vast and diverse assortment of people from every state in the nation, plus all U.S. territories; people from every racial and ethnic group; people from most religious faiths; and people from virtually every socioeconomic layer in our society? If I told you such an opportunity existed, Lisa, would you consider looking into it?" She smiled, but looked hesitant. "What is this place?", she asked, tentatively. "It's not so much of a place as it is a thing," I said, "an institution, and one of the oldest in the nation. I'm talking about the U.S. Army, Lisa!" She smiled, more nervously now. "Lisa, if you want the most honest understanding of race in America, you can get it at Basic Training..."

• They will probably change the color of the female on the cup to black. They better get their asses to Ferguson, Detroit, etc. and build a Starbucks, then have the thugs burn it down. I enjoy a latte once in a while but I will NEVER spend a dime at Starbucks. EFF. Those PC idiots.

• How come all their cups are white? How come they have a white looking woman on their logo? Just wondering?

  • Trying to appeal to their target audience, guilty white liberals, who have so much money they are willing to spend it on overpriced coffee instead of donating it to the poor, like the low class Conservatives do.

    • That's the bottom line. The poor can't afford their overpriced goods, so they never open a businessin a struggling neighborhood, despite the opportunities and jobs they could provide. They don't care about racism. They justdon't nt anyone to KNOW they don't care.

• IMO...the backlash of how "White" the company is over the internet caused them to scrap their lies. They didn't want the mainstream media getting a look at who they really are.

  Now back to your "Whiteness" Starbucks.

  Stupid is as stupid does.

• Although a heck of a lot of trolls PROBABLY invaded Starbucks and hence created issues and customer service blockages, the fact that people did bring up that Starbucks fails to go into minority neighborhoods and give job opportunities there was a big nail in the coffin of this very stupid endevour.

• New slogan on the cups from Starbucks this morning... "Stupid Together"....And has a picture of the Starbucks CEO on the cup....

  Funny how demotards just don't get it..Now I am sure they will be butthurt because their Utopian idea fell in the shitter.

• The only solution to this unfortunate decision by the ignorant marketplace to communicate directly to the Starbucks management that it is not interested in coffee with a shot of Diversity Interaction is(you'll never guess) government mandates! It will naturally take the form of a slight addition to your bill(like sales tax only larger)to fund continued social engineering by the Federal government.

  • That idea will fall flat, just as soon as servers notice their tips decreasing by the amount of that tax, and all other businesses find their sales decreasing by that amount.
