Starbucks defends ‘race together’ policy. A little quick searching on Google shows no Starbucks in blighted areas like 98th and MacArthur or 85th and International Blvd in Oakland, CA (and most of the rest of Oakland), Ferguson, MO, Southside Chicago, IL, East St. Louis, IL, Compton, CA,  the Hunter’s Point/Bayview areas in San Francisco, CA, Richmond, CA (except a couple of safe areas by the freeway) and we’d bet other blighted areas if we knew where they were.

We have to ask the CEO of Starbucks, Howard Schultz why he’s so racist? Really? You don’t have Starbucks stores in blighted areas with high minority populations yet you point the finger at your customers and much of the country? What an effing hypocrite.

    Why would any intelligent business owner want to open a business in a high crime area? You can't hire competent, honest help and who knows when some thugs may crash and trash the place while robbing it.

  • It could be because the people in the blighted areas simply dont like horseshit coffee that is at least two days old.

  • 1) Starbucks beans are burned so badly the coffee is repugnant
    2) Their "barristas" are not good at making said burned coffee
    3) If a pajamaboy looking hipster turd mentions race to me, especially my race, he's getting lunch early in the form of my heel in his mouth.
    4) Starbucks entire management team are honkeys-the hypocrisy of the left is never more evident than when they bring up pigment!

  • I don't think Mr Schultz gives a flying F about any of this. He puts the BS on the cups and whatever other promo because he and presumably the board, think this will improve PR and therefore, sales. They don't put Starbucks in blighted neighborhoods for the same reason Daniel Boulud isn't opening one of his high-end restaurants in East Harlem, East New York, or south Bronx - not because he doesn't like black people. Because he won't make a profit. People in blighted neighborhoods are not in a position to spring for $200/person for dinner.

    And people in blighted neighborhoods are not going to plop down $2.25 for a cup of coffee, not to mention $4.50 or whatever for a frambumacchiato. This has nothing to do with race. I bet you won't find a whole lot of Starbucks in the Ozarks, or Appalachia.

  • I've been to three different Starbucks in North CRolina this week. Not a single race together scrawl so far. They must not have gotten the memo on the I-40 corridor.

  • Homey can't ford no 5 buck coffee...That's why StarSucks is not in the ghetto...if anyone is racist, it would be StarSucks...They don't go in "bad" neighborhoods. Somebody needs to ask their Lilly White CEO why that is? Does he hate minorities? Does he not want them to enjoy his over priced slop? Think of all the jobs the inner city youts could get if StarSucks was not so racist and only built it's stores in white or upscale areas....

  • There must be something in the rain out there. That is the only way to explain the stupid shit the limo liberal white people come up with. Racist and racism have always existed and will continue to exist no matter how much craziness the left try to come up with.
