Harf was asked by a reporter if she meant, "The Iraqi army colored outside the lines" to whit she cried, "You said ' colored.' That makes you an eleventy-degree racist!"

Holding their lines means to stand, fight and resist the enemy and resist the urge to cut and run.
When have Iraqi troops ever stood and fought? Remember the first Gulf War, when Bush I went in there, and all the pontificators were warning about the "elite" Republican Guard? SOBs turned and ran without firing a shot most of them. As a nation they seem to produce nothing but terrorists, not a soldier in sight.
