Smells of fascisticalism
Another example of a professor not understanding actual words. Look up the origin of "mankind" and you will learn it was a gender-neutral term for all of humanity. That this professor is ignorant of this fact should not affect the student's grade.
One more example of why there should not be tenured professors in any university. Those in the academia world live in the world of make believe. Every last damn one should be required to work in the real world for at least 18 months in a row over a 6 year period. Then let them try their political correctness bull shit. Get fired from the private sector job, no teaching career for you.
