Scientific study determines Antarctic ice not melting. The funny thing is, just yesterday the Associated Press reported that according to climate models the East Coast is threatened by rising sea levels from melting ice. Gee, who do we believe? The science or the computer models?

Someone needs to explain weather v climate to these people. The fires were intentionally started from what I've read. We're drowning here in Florida is that global warming too? Europe had a brutally cold winter while ours was mild is that also climate change?
You know I was watching "Deadliest Catch" tonight and they had to stop fishing this past winter due to a super large area of ice in the Bering Sea....I guess climate change makes more ice? This might piss off Al Gore since the Polar Bears won't have to be bitter clingers to those small chunks of ice..In one scene in the show they show Dutch Harbor iced over and an arctic fox running across the harbor.. I am going back to calling climate change "weather", sometimes it's hot, sometimes it's cold, sometimes it rains, sometimes it is windy, sometimes Al Gore is stupid, sometimes he is really stupid, like the weather it changes.

The UN needs to form a commission to determine why reality went wrong, and investigate whether reality is fundamentally a "denier".

Computer models are no substitute for empirical method. If the model's predictions disagree with actual observations, the model is wrong. Science is never settled.
Any competent scientist will tell you those 3 sentences are absolutely correct, but if you say them to a "climate scientist" you'll be called a raaaaaacist and/or a deniiiiiier.
I used to model digital circuit boards. This was used to create a test program for these boards. I did this with 30 to 40 boards over the years. I also observed several hundred boards, done by other people. I never saw the computer model match the actual circuit. We always had to make adjustments to the model, to make it match reality. A digital logic circuit is a nowhere near the complexity of the environment.

LOL. Partly, but also the wind and the sources of water... like rivers and melting glaciers. The wind makes a huge difference, as anybody who's ever watched the water level rise in front of a hurricane knows. When the Amazon River is in flood, the water level goes up a bit in the vicinity of the mouth. Plain ol' logic. When you think about all the variables, it seems ludicrous to think they are measuring millimeter rises in sea level.
I saw something somewhere yesterday about a certain stretch of the California coast that supposedly had a rise of 6'. I just giggled and moved on. I should have posted it.
