Bonfire of the Absurdities: After 35 year career writing software for IBM mainframes, am now self-employed contractor thinking of joining a union and striking for higher wages. Amateur investor who has accumulated a small fortune in the market after starting out years ago with a large one. For recreation, I run, hike, kayak and play tennis but will not consider synchronized swimming under any circumstances.

So if the French leave France, does that make the country better or worse?
First, get the Muslims to leave. Then we'll worry about the French.
The way it's going the French will leave and France will become just another Muslim shit hole in Europe, like Sweden and England.
Actually, they have a growing segment of their population who DO NOT want to be French. That might be a problem. We are having similar problems with certain growing segments of our population. Assimilation seems to be a bitch for some folks.

What people need to understand is that socialists are not smart enough to make socialism work. They can have any number of degrees from whatever prestigious institutions of higher learning, they can't make it work. They cannot know EVERYTHING about EVERYTHING about whatever it is they are trying to do. It's impossible to know. It goes to something Andrew Wilkow has said for awhile...

...a funny example of this is the gov't seized the Mustang Ranch in Nevada for tax evation. For who do not know, the Mustang Ranch was a legal brothel, or for crowley, a real whorehouse. You know, you pay to have sex. They ran it into the ground, lost money, & it shut down...
...keep in mind, there are people who dropped out of school in the middle of the 9th grade who have run successful prostitution operations. The gov't can't, but a high school dropout can. Keep in mind, the biggest whores in America are politicians, but they can't even run a real whorehouse, & that's why these people always gravitate to gov't. Because they would starve to death if they had to earn living by having a job in the real world.
Maybe the would-customers had too much integrity to do business with any business that's owned by the Federal Government.
This is what governments do - they create the problem and then offer an even worse solution.
They recklessly spend your money and then raise taxes because they need to spend more.
They ignore border security and allow sanctuary cities and give entitlements to illegals. And when we are overrun with illegals they decry, "We need immigration reform!"
They don't let lawful citizens carry guns for protection and advertise gun free zones and when some idiot comes in shooting they say, "We need more gun control."
The allow welfare fraud and steal the money from the social security fund and decry, "We need entitlement reform."
Don't laugh too hard at France. We're not that far behind them.

The manifestations against homosexual marriage in France was some 1 400 000 strong, only 300 000 according to the medias. I´ll try to find a few pictures showing just how big these protests where.
If you travel through Paris, you´ll understand the prime reason as to why Frenchies would want to leave, it just isn´t quiet France anymore.
Protesting by committing suicide is a little too extreme.
Unless it is Creepy Crowley, then I am all for it...
I'd even vote for assisted suicide if turd boy was too chickenshit to do it himself.

I really do not understand why these idiots don't see what they are doing. OK - I guess I do. Give the poor "free things", and they are ignorantly happy. But neither of these groups cares, because they are "getting theirs".
I shan't be quitting France, yet - I've only recently arrived. It's OK here, out in the sticks, so the socialist fools can suffer revolution, for all I care (and probably a good thing, too) - I'm out of it.
Anywhere, there's really nowhere else to go - I escaped from the Former UK six years ago, and would never go back, the USA appears to be on the virge of self-destruction. I may as well stay put.

Has anyone else noticed, but communists HATE communism - unless they can be the Czar, or at least be part of the ruling council? Look at Al Gore and all his empty words about 'carbon credits', while he fly's around on a private jet. TAX the rich, right after I hide my private wealth - a commie credo.
They're like any other nose picking crybaby who thinks that everybody else owes him or her a living, even if they're already rich. Take everybody else's cookie but leave mine alone and on your way out the door give me some more cookies. I'm special so handle with care! So when the state finally runs out of every body else's money and they always do, they'll be looking for those cookies they know you hid under your mattress. Invariably they'll take what they think they can get away with and special you are left holding your jock strap, ir you're lucky! So what does special you do? You move somewhere where there's no communism and demand there be communism...and the cycle continues until all the land has been salted with your version of poison and there is no longer progress...or production. Stupid F***s!
