Suffolk Polling yanks workers from Florida, North Carolina and Virginia – gives states to Romney. We’re not familiar with this outfit. NC is no surprise but if VA and FL are also gone, it’s a big effing deal.

  • I don't want to be Negative Nancy - but DO NOT TRUST POLLS! No matter what they say! Repeat it like a mantra... do not trust them. Polls can be (and are, regularly) manipulated. They can say whatever the pollsters want them to say. And since we have no way of knowing where the pollsters heart and political leanings are - we cannot trust them. EVER!

Act as if we are behind by 10 points in an unweighted poll. Continue spreading the word. Continue talking to people, and searching for/posting on message boards and twitter. Don't get caught up in positivity. It's only 28 more days, and the end result is too darned important.

  • Just for grins and giggles, any one know what odds the bookies in Vegas are giving on Obumma?
I would feel those would be a better indication for the mood of the country than any poll. Man is it a shame when organized crime is more honest than the media.

    Just looked this up.

    • As Yogi Berra said "It's not over until it's over." He was talking about baseball but it applies to politics too. I won't be feel safe and happy until all the votes are counted and Romney declared the winner.

    • It will be difficult to be that happy, even if Romney wins, but maybe if I was also winning the lottery and getting oral favors at the same time, it might help. ;-)

  • An attempt to set complacency in the hearts and minds of some of the people likely to vote for Romney? Sure could be. Everybody must never let up until this communist bastard and all his minions are strapped securely into their ejector seats.

    • Obama and his goons can keep trying new forms of subversion on us to the right. It will have no effect. He's a loser, we know it, and we're voting him out. For these reasons I continue to believe R&R will win by a comfortable margin, around 54 % to 46 %. The polling has been largely corrupted to favor dems. Some of this shift now IMO is the polling firms trying to move to a more realistic assessment so they have business chances beyond November. Some observational evidence; the same polls showing O with a large lead in Ohio, pre-debate, also showed the dem senate candidate in OH with a wide lead, in fact a bigger margin that reported for O/R. Now the big lead is gone for O and the senator, and both now poll around 46 %. Likely O the magnificent lost some steam after the debate, but hard to imagine this trickles down so effectively to a senate race. I conclude the big dem margins reported earlier were just BS/propaganda and a drug fix for the narcissist in chief.

      • Like this one from Sunday?

"Ohio now shifts back from Safe Democrat to a Toss-up in the Rasmussen Reports Senate Balance of Power rankings. With the addition of Ohio, seven Senate races nationwide are Toss-Ups, but at this point it still appears likely that Democrats will retain control of the Senate."

Brown's a hack and needs to go, I hope. But still, Kaine is going to win in VA, and that incredible ass Nelson will win in FL, don't see much changing in DC. This is fast & inter-active, drag over a state to see the latest %s.

        • I am really scared that jackass Nelson will win, but Connie Mack has name recognition, and ran a good series of positive ads about himself. while Nelson was running nasty ads about Mack.
Now, Mack is running ads critical of Nelson, but not nasty ads. I think people are tired of the nastyness, and it will hurt Nelson. I just don't know if it will hurt him enough.

    • DHM, that is an intriguing thought. Perhaps the left-pols have concluded that, "Depressing the right hasn't worked. Let's try fostering complacency."

One thing that it is not talked about in polite circles is the outright political hatred Obama has earned for himself with us on the right. It was evident in the midterm elections and is alive and well today. Left-Loons want to chalk the hatred up to racism but, for folks like me, the only color about him we hate is red communist.

I think the polls shifted this week (despite all the same variables being formulated) because Romney took The Bamster out behind the woodshed last week and soundly thrashed him. In actuality, those formulas are likely showing the race much tighter than it is, I believe. I'm betting the election will be 52% for Romney, 46% Obama with 1.9999999999999999% going to Ron Paul and .00000000000000001% of the vote going to jcrowley1985 on a write-in ballot.

  • I have a feeling that this election will not even be close. Obama is going down & he's going down hard. He will barely go down swinging.

    • The media darling won't be told he's losing until all the votes are in. The MSM is in denial, and those that have seen the trends are keeping the truth from The One because they don't want to see the temper tantrum he and the wookie will throw.
