• I've been a motorcycle rider for 47 years, never had a desire to be a biker.

• I've been riding a scooter of some kind since I was a kid and crap like this is exactly why I have never joined a club. I have one patch on my jacket, the American flag and that is it. I've been invited to join a couple of three patch clubs and always said no thanks. Those of you who don't know what a three patch club is look it up, what you read may scare the crap out of you.

  I like to ride. The fresh air, the feeling of freedom, it's as great as riding a good horse only much faster. But the gang mentality does not suit me. I don't dance to anyone's tune, other than my own. Inner city gangs, biker gangs, any kind of mob mentality is no better than the "gang" of radical Muslims we are now having to put up with.

  • I've been around many outlaws over the years. The best thing you can do is to give them respect, but don't get too involved.
    Just friendly enough to not be a target, but not so friendly that they want to recruit you.
    I know too many dead bikers.

• Unlike thugs, these guys must have put in some range time...At least all they shot was each other...Remember a few years back the shooting in a Las Vegas C asino? This happens every once in a while. The fight over prostitutes, Meth territory and just territory.. It builds up, there is an event like this and there are a lot less bike gang members.....Too Bad the Mooselimbs don't have a motorcycle gang, these guys could be directed that way and might take care of a problem or two for us..

    also: it was more than just guns they was using. apparently is was anything that came to hand. I reckon they were real sure whom their targets was gonna be and meant to do some real damage. I mean, sure a gun can and will kill right away, but whaling away with a chain or 2x4 or even a knife induces pain and suffering and perhaps death.
    i remember a line from steed of the Avengers when mrs. peel asked him how he knew a bad guy was gonna go for a body shot: He's from the old school, where if you can't kill, you maim. That's stuck with me lo these many years.

  • That's the first thing I thought of too. That is a lot of dead people ( and wounded too) when you consider it happened in the middle of a brawl. No sprayin' and prayin' with these guys. That was a lot of deliberate shooting, with higher than average results IMO. That takes lots of range time with quality firearms to do that kind of damage.

  I'm actually rather impressed. These bikers seem to be able to control their fire better than the usual stuff you hear about.

  • And if it had been the gangs in Baltimore or Chicago, more innocent by standers would have gotten shot then gang members.

    • Hell, NYPD would have winged at least one bystander. It's also a credit to Waco PD.

      The scary thing is my Dad and Sister were going to be in Waco today if it hadn't been so rainy. Would have hated to have them go through this.
