Maybe Obutthead should convene a "Solar Panel" to investigate the failure of Solar Panels...and staff it with crony Solar Panel executives from failed solar panel companies like solyndra.....
Are we sure that this damage isn't from birds dropping rocks on the panels that are frying their friends?

That smashed solar panel is the perfect symbol for the solar "industry". Here in Nebraska, we have heard of the benfits of solar, but they always seem to avoid the reality of hail. Two years ago, a nearby town had 3" hail that went on for twenty to thirty minutes. The stones were so hard that when they hit the pavement they would bounce two to three feet into the air. Two years later, the roofing, siding and home repair industry not to mention body shops are just winding down from fixing the damage the hail caused. Imagine the damage a solar panel field would receive from this kind of storm.
Maybe if they put up a roof over it to protect it from the ravages of weather, like rain, snow, hail, and sunlight.
