Super Bowl pits Facebook against Twitter. Facebook wants to take away Twitter’s “second screen” status and become the venue of choice for comments during the game. A pox on both of them. They’re both run by liberal weenies who censor conservatives so stay here or go here to make comments, instead.

Jesus, hate to hog a thread but I'm having fun... when was the last time you saw the starting qb pulled in a Super Bowl... because they were kicking ass?
The other quarterback is the one who should have been pulled. Payton Manning looked horrible.
The age of the pocket passer is coming to an end. Elite defenses are too much for any offensive line when the QB is totally immobile.
Manning is getting too old to keep playing anyway.
Still, he isn't as bad as Tony Romo. At least he got his team TO the Superbowl!
He certainly looked old yesterday.
Is there a run-rule in the Super Bowl? Not like they can cut away to another game out of mercy.

I will admit that I use FB, because it is a good way to find and keep in contact with, people you have long ago lost contact with.
I have reconnected with people I went to kindergarten with, people I went to high school with, and people I was in the music business with. While I find it useless otherwise, I do like the chance to find people I otherwise would have never seen again.
Twitter, I couldn't give less of a shit about.
I use facebook like Poppa. As a military kid, we were always moving, and I lost track of most of my friends. Only recently, I reconnected with my best friend from high school. I also have relatives scattered everywhere, so it helps us keep in touch. Never even looked to sign up for twitter. I figured I was not interested (now ould anyoneelse be) in a running description of my every thought and action.
