Lets be intellectually here and realize that this intrusion into privacy is a bipartsian effect NOT just a liberal action.

I have been on this site before. I recall many posters blaming obama and liberals for taking away out rights. While I do agree with that opinion is isn't just the democrats who are assaulting our liberties, it's the republicans too.
But, we never blamed liberals for this cell phone thing, we blamed police over reach.
All for this just as Not So Silent said. A warrant isn't that difficult to get. All an officer needs to do is present the facts. Even the most lenient judge will grant it if the facts presented justify it.
I'll take The Bill of Rights over a heavy handed government any day.

I agree with it, A search Warrant is easy to obtain, takes a little time, and thought and when you have a judge that doesn't have shit for brains (few and far between) they will question you to make sure your not trying to pull a fast one..Too bad they federal government doesn't follow the rules when they search someone..I would love to see the justification for some of the searches by the DHS...Someone really needs to put a cap on those freaks and soon. That is not law enforcement, that is Obama's Brownshirts running out of control....
Too bad they left one caveat in place, no need for a warrant if the police feel they are in danger.

All of them that want to violate someone's rights. Officer safety is used in some of the most ridiculous situations these days. "Put that phone away, stop recording me, it might be a gun." Yes, we have them on video saying things like that.
