Supreme Court rules than Sandy Hook families and survivor CAN sue the maker of the rifle used in the massacre that left 26 dead. We assume this may open the doors to all kind of product lawsuits. Get killed in a car wreck by a Ford? Sue Ford. Trip on a sidewalk? Sue the cement company. Seems to us like a backdoor way to ban AR-15’s. SCOTUS should be changed to MORONS in our opinion.
The lawsuit says the Madison, North Carolina-based company should never have sold a weapon as dangerous as the Bushmaster AR-15-style rifle to the public. Gunman Adam Lanza used it to kill 20 first graders and six educators. It also alleges Remington targeted younger, at-risk males in marketing and product placement in violent video games. Lanza was 20 years old.

"should never have sold a weapon as dangerous as the Bushmaster AR-15-style rifle to the public?" Wouldn't this open up ALL manufacturers of semi-automatic rifles?
Today the Acme Fork and Spoon company was sued because the use of their products causes heart disease and obesity....The law firm of Dewey, Cheatem, and Howe is representing the nations entire population of fat/obese democrats in a class action lawsuit. The main plaintiff is the former democratic candidate for governor of Georgia, Stacy ( i really won but you is racist) Adams.
How much do I get if most of my excess weight came from burgers, fries, and tacos, none of them eaten with utensils?
Somebody (like a perplexed lawyer, I think) made a comment that the phraseology of the complaint (a military-style assault rifle for civilians or such something) is echoed in the 2nd Amendment phrase "a well-regulated militia" and saying that a company couldn't use their 1st Amendment rights to market this weapon for a customer's 2nd Amendment rights was a little silly.
Nicely put.
Actually. SCOTUS ruled on squat. They just refused to hear the case. They are cowards.
Next up, Lawyers gone wild....this fucking country is going to come to a stop because of lawyers....again, Shakespeare was right...
