Wherever we have coal, we extract it
Promote fracking
Increase refining capacity by expending existing refineries & build new ones
Build more nuke power plants
Promote more natural gas production
& kill all ethanol mandates & subsidies
...America's economy would explode, & it would hurt our enemies. Like Saudi Arabia, Russia, Venezuela, & other middle eastern oil producers.
All of which are excellent ideas, which is why it will never happen under a leftist regime.

Get ready to pay out the ass for power. A friend who is in the power and energy field has stated that all of the power plants within his company are down to 10 day supply of coal. If this summer or next winter is as bad as predicated, there will be brown outs and power outages through out the power grid across the country.
