President Obama earned $789,674 in 2011, the White House announced on Friday. However, with this income, he does not even qualify for the so-called Buffett Rule that he has promoted relentlessly and the Senate will take up on Monday. With his income he doesn’t qualify for all of the millions that have been spent on his luxuries, vacations and entertainment either. But -like we’ve said before- Obama’s greed runs a world in need.

I take issue with the verb. That sonofabitch was PAID $789.674, but didn't EARN a nickel of it.
No, he was paid a great deal more than that. That is just the amount he was unable to hide. This may reflect wages (or not) but certainly does not include tips.
This should be called the Obama Rule.

Pretty depressing when the little people "Dear Leader" is supposed to be supporting pay a higher tax rate then his multimillionaire ass.
Whoa, whoa, whoa. If your employer gives you or your wife or your kids an all expenses paid vacation/vacations doesnt the IRS consider that to be income on which you have to pay taxes. Wouldn't all these vacations be considered income, which would raise his taxable income a tidy sum. I understand that he shouldn't have to pay for the security that is required for the family, but the value of the vacation should be considered income, just like it would for the peasants.
A perfect example of why I keep telling people we don't need to increase the tax RATE, we need to eliminate the loopholes, so that everyoneis paying THEIR FAIR SHARE of their true income, not some number created by creative bookkeeping. Joe Blow does not have access to some of the hiding places, and can't afford the accountants and ;awyers to hunt them up, so HE actually pays MORE than his fair share! Figures strike again.
We don't even need to close all the damn loopholes - but we sure as hell need to INCREASE the numbers of the tax base. Why can't 70% of Americans be expected to pay their "Fair Share.?"

Yeah, how much is all the free (to him) travel, dinners, parties, golf, vacations and such worth? He's been campaigning on the taxpayers' dime for months now, going around making speeches on "green energy" or some bullshit and conveniently, every place he goes to talk, there's a multi-thousand dollar a plate fundraiser in the area at the same time. What a crock. If you counted all the freebees the Moochers-in-Chief get, they could end up in the Forbes 100.
