The headline is wrong, it should be reporters are worst at doing their job
Frequently, they do not. One common trend is to take passages directly from Wikipedia and insert them directly into news reports. But, Wikipedia is crowd sourced, so its content can be biased simply by who chooses to contribute material on a subject. At least Wikipedia notes when a claim is poorly supported or widely contested but the newspaper reporter prints it as fact.
