• Sad that aninnocent wasdetained. BUT. . . DC is a hive of black thugs, the kid ranwhen approached and did indeed resist the cops. Had he laid still and calmly interacted with the cops, the whole situation would have been different. And I havevseen criminals with literal smoking guns in their hands claiming they "didn't do nothing." I can't really fault the cops for not accepting that.

• How many people have been assaulted and robbed after they got money out of an ATM? How many of the criminals have been young black men, especially in cities like D.C.? I rest my case.

  The race baiters like Jackson and Sharpton, the BLM thugs, the rabble-rousers who keep whining about police brutality, the way so many black men dress today and the number of crimes committed by young black men, all have contributed to a us versus them mentality. If young black folks don't want to get harassed by the law then wear pants that fit instead of walking around with your ass hanging out. Do not hang around ATM's and banks, where people are taking money in to deposit or taking money out. And for sure, do not run if you have done nothing wrong, that is a good way to get shot as has been shown many times.

  I empathize with honest black people but they need to look at the truth. The "black culture", the "black mentality", the rap music they listen to, the clothing, many things have contributed to their problems and they have brought it upon themselves by not standing up, pulling up their pants and vocally denouncing the very things that make people look at them with distrust.

  • The majority of the honest black people agree with what you said. In fact, there have been more than a few who have posted on You tube saying such, but they usually get beaten down by the thugs and race baiters.

    • I met quite a few black men who were engineers or conductors when I was working on a railroad contract last year and they were very vocal about how race baiters like Sharpton were causing the most problems.

• When cops arrive at a call, and someone runs, that tends to raise suspicion, I would think. Then, he clearly resisted being cuffed. The two combined were reason enough for a trip downtown.

• Isn't loitering still a crime?

  • Yes, but it's usually only used on people that look like they can afford the fine.
