TAXING “THE RICH” WORKING OUT SWIMMINGLY IN CALIFORNIA: Revenues to State Fall 10 Percent. Evidently the rich don’t want to wait to be taxed ’til they ain’t rich no more. They’re cutting their losses and swimming for greener pastures.

You realize if California was walled off from federal money, civil unrest would overrun The Golden State, & they are too damn dumb to understand what is causing their problems.
Not just California. I think that is why BHO will not even discuss entitlement reform. He and his cronies are afraid of their own constituents burning cities to the ground.
Worse yet, they may steal and eat his Cheeto's.

I'm sure Paul Krugman approves Governor Moonbeam's irrational tax plans.
California is so screwed, it's run by rich liberals, socialist public employee unions (approved by Ed Asner) and wacko environmentalists while being flooded with illegal aliens. Anyone who can should leave the state before it becomes a giant Detroit. Actulaly, it might already be too late to save the state from ruin.

As long as the populace of the three branches were present at the time, that wouldn't be a bad thing. In fact, as tragedies go, that wouldn't be one. Rather it would be the sacrifice of patriots blood and death of tyrants to feed the tree of Liberty!
One of my heavy construction buddies posted on FB the other day that he had seen enough of San Bernardino for the day, and was headed home. I asked if the city's checks were bouncing yet. He replied that it is a state job, on I-215. "Oh, you're alright then. The State of California has a few more months before declaring bankruptcy."
It's part of an ad campaign for tourism: "Come to California and see our Death Spiral!"
Sounds like the Restaurant at the End of the Universe.
