Best way to get rid of the worthless teachers is to eliminate tenure. That will take a politician like Scott Walker. Who was willing to take on the unions and stop the bleeding in Wisconsin.
Here in Maine, we do NOT have tenure, and we still have plenty of worthless teachers, although the union says there are none. According to them, a worthless teacher is like black-on-white racism: by definition it can't happen.
If you put vouchers into the hands of the parents, & if they can spend their child's student money on whatever schools they wanted to, & force public schools to get better through competition for those dollars, this crap would all go away. Bad schools with lousy teachers would either rid themselves of those teachers & administrators, or they will go away. The Dept of Ed & the NEA oppose this because when the worthless among their ranks were ousted, so would their dues payments. If you notice the powers that run public education care more about their fellow members in the teacher's unions, along with their business partners involved in standardized testing, like in Common Core, & the kids/parents can go sit down & shut up. It's always about the kids, except when it's really not.
Exactly how is it that teachers don't have to perform well to keep their jobs? If they can manage to not get fired for 3 years, they get to keep their job for life? How many of us have that going for us?
As long as the teacher unions support Demtards their heads won't see sunlight.
It really isn't that great of a story. Many teachers are so blind that they still support him. I went to school with one of them. She's a teacher in Kalifornia.
That said, I posted the link on FB just to tweke a few noses.
