Texas official warns of Obama civil war. We personally think if Obama ISN’T reelected it could be a real problem. The left loves to riot and tear up stuff. Look at OWS. We could envision a gigantic temper-tantrum if O loses to Romney. The other way around, not so much.

I don't think he's right, but he's also not totally nuts either.
Obama turning over our sovereignty to the UN is not totally crazy. He's already planning on making our gun rights subject to UN rule.
This guy is just planning for a worst case scenario.
And that is exactly what he stated. He wanted to prepare for a "worst case" scenario! And yes, he is Republican. God I love this state! Weirdos abound!
What's so weird? Officials in the Obama Administration has made it clear that they think the US should surrender control of our armaments industry, coastal & mineral resources, historical sites, and large portions of our national treasury to the United Nations. He has already signed executive orders giving legal immunity to UN troops operating within our borders.
Although something of which this judge is unaware is how already heavily armed are the "Republic of Texas" and it's natural allies (especially considering how many Federal troops have been demobilized). For ground troops, Tennessee has an Armored Cavalry regiment, Mississippi and Alabama both have Armored Brigades. The Governor of Texas has an entire Heavy Armored DIVISION (the US Army only has one of these left, stationed in Germany) available to him! For airpower, these Governors mostly control regiments of F15s and F16s, plus tankers and cargo planes. Virginia's Air National Guard (a pretty elite group) is equipped w/the new F22 Raptor, plus a squadron of AH-64 attack helicopters.
This isn't 1861 - if another American President launches an unconstitutional attack on the Southern states, he'll walk into a world of hurt!
Well this IS Texas. We have bumper stickers that read "secede" and periodically we get a rowdy group that pushes. SInce we were a separate COUNTRY before we joined the US, we are the only state that legally can leave the union at any time. Of curse with the likes of Rick Perry at the helm, no one in his right mind would leave the union. He's almost as bad as the Dems (and was one for years!)
Texas is bigger than pretty much any of the European countries, in fact, almost any state is. Why do we all have to have one central authority to tell us what to do when we can function independently?
Exactly, so this yahoo judge wants to raise taxes so he and the Sheriff can meet the UN troops at the county line with "trained, equipped, seasoned veteran officers to back me..."
so they can; "stand in front of their armored personnel carrier and say 'you're not coming in here'."
