Butt smoking marijuana is okay......lets see smoking a weed with no filter that you buy from some guy on a street corner who smells like urine...or a pack of smokes sealed in a wrapper with filters from a store...Libturds have a strange sense of whats good for you....I have never seen a cigar smoker steal cheetos from a stop and rob, or for that matter run over someone in his car because he was smoking....Wonder what color the sky is in libturd world?

The funny thing is, they don't realize that not only do they make it economical to order cigarettes from states with a much lower tax, it is perfectly legal! Anyone is legally allowed to bring no more than 2 cartons at a time from another state, for personal use, without paying the tax. What they didn't realize is that in many cases, like NY and NJ, it is cheaper to buy from dealers in the Carolinas, and paying UPS shipping rates, than it is to buy from local dealers. We figured that out many years ago when we lived in NJ, and visited the Carolinas. We spoke to a person in a tobacco shop and they were more than happy to ship to NJ, and it saved about $8 a carton, and that was before the tax went up!

All that the smoking nazis have done is create a black market. If they are hell bent to ban smoking than make tobacco illegal and stop taking the tax dollars. The fascist want the tax dollars but can't bring themselves to just leave people alone. They've got to be minding everyone's business and behavior. Well I don't need a nanny and I sure as hell don't need a nagging voice tling me what I can and can't do. What I can and can't eat. No I don't smoke , but I'm not going to get in someone's face who does. It's their body and their business. They are the ones slowly reducing their life not me.

The problem is that the pols have become addicted to tobacco tax revenues, but, like our Beloved Leader, they are too stupid to discern the difference between tax rates and tax revenues. When confronted with the decline in tobacco tax revenue after rate increases, all they can think of is...raising the rates even more! Did I mention that they are stupid? Unfortunately, they are not too stupid to find millions of even stupider voters to maintain them in office.
Another one of thoise little ironies. The want everyone to stop smoking and reduce their liquor intake, but they tax the hell out of these products to fund their programs. Can you say "conflict of interest?"
Simple math suggests NY could cut the tobacco tax in half and collect the same amount of money, but liberals don't do math so they'll likely spend a bunch of money on enforcement and raise the tax.
