If we learned anything last night, it's now a well known fact that "Dear Leader" isn't much of a decision maker when under pressure. Not a good combination when you have places like Iran on the brink of developing Nuclear Weapons.
Oh, there's no worries there, they're just trying to generate electricity. :-(

Ever read the "Ender's Game" series? Don't recall which of the books it is, but there's a character named Achilles (French pronunciation, NOT a-KIL-eez!) who is charming, a born leader, well-loved by his followers, and a schizophrenic homicidal sociopath. He just about manages to rule the world before he's stopped.
BTW the author, Orson Scott Card, is a Mormon, and a few years ago came out as a conservative after many years of convincing himself he was a moderate.
Read any number of Vince Flynn's "Mitch Rapp" series of novels (going back to 1999) and you will see that he pretty much prophesied about Obama, Iraq, 9/11, liberal wusses in the Democrat party, behind the scenes power brokers/handlers, Iran's nuclear weapons, etc. At one point he writes about a Democrat president who has a chief of staff or press secretary named "Valerie" who, as you read about her character, you automatically go to an image of Valerie Jarrett--and this is way before Obama came on the scene in 2004. Sometimes it's just scary reading about what Vince saw and then it coming to pass.

Yeah, and here he is today in Denver talking tough and calling Romney a liar via the teleprompter. I genuinely believe that for the first time, the teleprompter will become a serious issue among swing voters.
A clear message emerged from the Luntz focus group following the debate: independent voters are vastly swinging into Romney's camp in a county that has voted with the winner of presidential elections since 1940.

You can't depend on the next debate to come out exactly the same. Besides, there are too many Obamabot zombies that think Obama won. That is scary.
I agree, Dan. It's fine to get our spirits lifted but we need to be realistic.
The puppeteers were probably just as shocked as the media over what happened last night, but they are going to try and kick Obama's butt into shape in 13 days. And, I think we are going to start seeing the paper-wrapped fish tactics coming soon. Being overconfident is the worst thing Romney can do right now. He can't trust ANYONE or ANYTHING until he has won, and moved into the WH.
Maybe the fat lady hasn't sung yet, but she sure as hell cleared her throat last night.
Either way, he's got a point. We should not be overconfident. Obama may be a fool and/or his heart may no longer be in it but the people around him are ruthless totalitarians and are likely not ready to give up yet.
