The EEOC: Protecting the public from the dangers of attractive people

• If I make a similar business but just with sexy men am I going to get molested as well? I mean can't I as a private business owner do my own theme thing without people getting all over my grill? it is a theme to get a certain type of paying clientele. Ugly ass women may not like it, but if a woman wants to work there and she qualifies to work there then she should and no government body nor individual idiot should start a mess just because they are not getting an equal shot... I mean really? Okay some argue that if they ONLY hire white blond sexy women and decline equally sexy black women I do think that is a problem because a person can do something to become sexy but a person cannot do anything to change the skin color. the qualifications should be about something that the person can do or change in order to qualify THAT is the equal shot. If a person cannot or will not do anything to do what it takes to qualify then the person is not right for the job and it is as simple as that. If I want a job as a trucker I need to qualify by becoming a trucker, I cannot go in there and demand the job while I am not a trucker. It doesn't make sense...

  • There was a story here a while back about trucking companies not being able to use alcoholism and DUIs as disqualifiers for hiring drivers. So yes, the government DOES require companies to hire the unqualified. Maybe it's Obama feeling bad about his lack of qualifications.

    • That is wrong. If you are driving professionally you must be a safe driver because you have the opportunity to be on the road for a long time each day/week and thus putting a lot of people in danger. If a professional driver with bad history of driving and alcoholism is not disqualified then the government needs to stop putting people in prison OR given them heavy fines for DUI's altogether. You don't give the keys to the drug closet of a hospital to a person with a history of drug abuse. It just doesn't make sense.

    • I remember that one, I couldn't believe that they were forcing trucking companies to hire people with DUI convictions, while they are trying to increase highway safety!

      • That's just the problem. The government doesn't give a damn about public safety. Keeping people from being "discriminated" against is much more important.

        • Exactly. That is the reason why test are dumbed down instead of requesting people to qualify for the already set standards.

• Football is over, so I guess there's always baseball or a race I can watch at HOOTERS, on twelve different TV's maybe even get a different game on each TV. That's what it's all about and of course the exemplary service you recieve when seated at your local HOOTERS. Boy's these places are to be held in the highest regards and traditions of this great country. If they would have had Hooters around when they were writing the Constitution it's where the Founding Fathers would have lunch and dinner each day!!! They are as American as Apple Pie and Hotdogs. The feminazi's are losing the war one battle at a time and this blow by the back-up squad EEOC is downright wrong on so many levels....BACK OFF BUTT FACES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

• I dont need any protection from this. What I need protection from is the communist in the WH and his cronies who are hell bent on ruining this nation and taking away the lovely ladies such as those who work for Hooters.

  I believe I will have to visit my local Hooters just to show support for them from the fools at the EEOC. After visiting there, I might just hop on over to Show Me, then maybe to the Tilted Skirt for dessert.

• After having watched this video I am prepared to say that in the upcoming workers revolution and after we have purged this world from the vileness of capitalism and the have more we will still be keeping the Hooters Restaurant. I can see now that they are culturally significant and not counter revolutionary at all. Maybe Olivvya can get a job there. I have never seen her but based on all her triumphant debates here I know she must be at least as beautiful as these girls here are.

• Sexist? How can I be sexist when I have big burly guys helping me with rocking the horses? We let some little skinny guys try it, but it was hopelessly funny. And when I'm at a Renaissance Faire, I insist that I be surrounded by beautiful women. The big burly guys don't complain much.

• For my rocking horse booth at Renaissance Faires, I hire nothing but big burly guys, and really cute young ladies. It just happens that these are the people that do the job best, and keep my customers coming back. EEOC can go to hell.

• Everybody complaining about all the companies leaving the country, no jobs, real unemployment figures over 30%.
