• It just keeps getting worse, and still no one sporting a fluorescent orange jumpsuit. But then what do you expect from a bunch of criminals protecting their fellow criminals.

  Might this be protecting the data severed from the email server... preventing its reemergence?

  • Are you suggesting that there was an executive order requiring the Lerner emails be deleted from the backup server? ;-)

    • No, an executive insinuation, implication, suggestion... maybe a hint for an inference to be drawn but never, never, never EVER would I dare even purport to (openly) suggest that this oh-so-above reproach bastion of ethics, morals, and apple pie Americanism of a President break with the ironclad tradition of not abusing the executive fiat *snicker* to obstruct any scrutiny into the doings of a rogue janitor in the building across the street from the Cincinnati IRS building and how that might have infringed on the Constitutional rights of the "Terrorize Every American" party of obvious racists, bigots, and other miscellaneous knuckle-draggin' conservatives that the very President himself has taken a personal stake in upholding and protecting... mostly by the sheer genius of his executive use of his nine iron and putter on the back nine.

      In other words, perhaps.

• Damn those vendors. Advertising that they are doing work and helping to protect the government files and emails. So did their data center suffer a catastrophic failure? Did the DRC (disaster recover center) suffer the same fate? When Koskinen appears on Monday will that smug arrogant ass attitude take a change? No he's to damn arrogant to realize his lies are about to be tied around his neck and used to hang him with them. Koskinen along with Lerner will be the fall people for quagmire and they will be expected to remain defiant until the end.

  Its time for congress to dispatch the US Marshals and the Capital Police to the centers of Sonasoft and have them stand guard within the facilities and watch each and every keystroke that is typed in so as to not have an "accident". Once the retrieval process has been completed, the tapes and hard copies of the email should be placed under heavy armed guard and returned to DC and presented to every last committee that has demanded them.

  • Agree but i doubt it will ever happen. The Rep's huff and puff and get a few sound bites, but then it is on to the next scandal for more of the same. This crap is so astonishingly unbelievable it is outrageous.
    I truly believe, everyone in the Shithole on the Potomac blows each other while laughing their asses off out how much of our money they are stealing.

    • I wish someone in Congress had the cajones to throw them all in jail until the material they requested is produced! It's all well and good to continuously call them in and give them public ass-chewings, but what does it really accomplish? They just roll their eyes and suck it up for the few hours it goes on, then go have a beer and laugh.
