I don’t think there are new strains. I think it’s an excuse to keep pushing fear, period.
India was going down fast, until they decided to ignore the U.S. and U.N. bureaucrats and start treating COVID with hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin, etc., all completely effective and dirt cheap. Just like that, India's desperate situation was ameliorated.
