• Where is Oolivia, shrieking that this is a mischaracterization, that it is only practiced by a few extremists, and we can't judge all of Islam based on these few stories? I mean, after all, they only commented on what, 6 different cases in 6 different countries. Are ALL those extremists? Then why can't womne leave the relig ion, if the majority do not support these behaviours? Waiting here Olivia.

  • I just got home from an enjoyable evening photographing one of my favorite bellydancers at a restaurant. I met a couple there that were very nice, and VERY interesting to chat with.

    They are retired from their jobs, and now they run a charitable organization that has them spending half their time here in the States, and half in the Middle East. They go to the Middle East to help women escape Islam, either because they are Christian and the Muslims want them dead, or because they are in a Muslim family, and want to get out alive. They help them escape the Middle East, help them with getting refugee status here, then spend time here helping them become Americans. As in citizens.

    I offered to help them with any kind of fundraising events they are putting on, bringing a rocking horse or operating a photo booth.

    Anyone who still thinks Islam is the religion of peace should talk to some of these people, and get the truth. First hand.

      Thanks for sharing, I am glad to hear the stories about those who are brave enough to escape and those who are helping these women find real freedom. True humanitarians!

• Pat Robertson's 700 Club, which features CBN News, featured this report. They do some excellent reporting. They do reports on a number of subjects which Fox won't seem to touch.

• Such a loving and caring religion is it not, a religion where women can be killed or mutilated just because they wish to believe in another religion of not to follow the strictness of their current religion.

  • NAGS = preservation of Roe v Wade. Period. Well, maybe the WNBA too.

    • I was waiting for someone to figure out that Roe V Wade was the only thing the NAGS care about. Their whole platform is the ability to be able to take a life, they do not care about preserving life except of course their own.

    • N.O.W., the ACLU, D.A.R., none of these "human rights" groups are saying anything about the violence against women, the women they claim they are fighting for.

      A bunch of fools, claiming to fight for womens rights, when in reality they only fight the fights they think are worthy of their efforts. I guess Muslim women are not worthy.

        I would also add that fear is a factor as well. If you go after the Muslims they go after you, and I don't mean with a lawsuit.

        • None of us think women, or anyone else, does not deserve to be treated with equality and compassion and that is what makes all their caterwalling sound so hollow.

          You don't get to pick your fights, you either believe in something or not. It all starts at home, if you see anyone being mistreated would you stand up or not? I do, and will, consequences be damned, and if anyone wants a piece of me then bring it on. I am an American, a veteran, a Bible thumper and I own weapons.

          God, guns and guts made this country, not all the whiners that believe treating everyone "nice" will get you treated "nice" in return. All these women who want to get away from Islam slavery need to do is ask, I'm sure they will find plenty of people who will help them. But, they have to ask!

        • It's the same with all of the various groups loosely lumped together as "the left". Enviros ignore the abysmal treatment of nature in the former communist countries. They keep pushing socialism as the solution. The professional blacks (Jesse, Sharpie, et al) ignore the treatment of their racial brethren by the Arabs in Sudan, or for that matter by the tin-pot dictators of their own race. And yes, the NAGS ignore the treatment of women in approximately 1/4 of the world.

          That led to my conclusion that all of their true goals are NOT what they claim they are. But they are not hypocrites. Liars yes, but not hypocrites. Their real goals are the advancement of statism, and the suppression of liberty. They simply choose to play roles in society that make their agendas more palatable by those who are not really paying close attention.

        • Yes! These left wing groups are nothing more than fronts. The overarching goal is totalitarian statism, IMO. Call it socialism, fascism, or communism it doesn't matter since each of those systems are on the same progressive continuum.

• The Antichrist will be a Muslim and his global government will require total submission which what Islam means. Submission will be signaled by a mark on the hand or forehead. People will not be able to do commerce if they do not have this mark.

• If there ever was a group of women who could use concealed carry, it's them.

  • Don't ask for sympathy if you are a woman who chooses to belong to a theocracy that murders innocents, reveres pedifilia and buggery of boys & men by other men, kills women who want to drive a car and gives goats cudos for their sexual prowess.

    • Look at what happens to those who leave? Hunted down and savagely murdered. I like Bonfire's opinion, its not a bad idea if any of these women choose to act on it.

      I don't think most of those women have much of a choice in the matter. Unfortunately chattel isn't usually allowed to say "no thanks" and walk away.
