The rich do not pay the most taxes, they pay ALL the taxes. CBO report says “…top 40% of wage earners in America pay 106% of the taxes. The bottom 40%…pay negative 9%.” [Video at the link.] Class-warfare politics is a game: Politicians blather about “income inequality” and “the rich not paying their fair share.” Voters elect them. Pols then throw the voters a few crumbs while busily making the rich (and themselves) richer thru crony capitialism, bailouts, quantitative easing, etc, etc. Lather, rinse, repeat.

The poor pay taxes every day. Sales taxes, property taxes, the hidden tax called inflation and more are paid by the poor. And as a percent of their income they pay far more than the rich. The simple analogy is a common speeding ticket. the fine is $175. which is more than a weeks pay for a poor person. For a rich man that same $175. may not even cover 1% of his daily earnings. To have the same effect on the person fined the rich man would have to pay a stunning fine.
