The spread of “debate is over” syndrome

The spread of “debate is over” syndrome. “On climate and other issues, many in academia, media, government insist their viewpoint is unassailable and won’t tolerate dissent.” Nobody expects the American inquisition… our chief weapons are “SHUT UP”, “YOU’RE FIRED” and “RAAAAAACISM”…

Bonfire of the Absurdities: After 35 year career writing software for IBM mainframes, am now self-employed contractor thinking of joining a union and striking for higher wages. Amateur investor who has accumulated a small fortune in the market after starting out years ago with a large one. For recreation, I run, hike, kayak and play tennis but will not consider synchronized swimming under any circumstances.

Let's face it, MiniTru is here. Thought police will soon arrive, if they are not here already.

  • I really wasn't too keen on that article: making sure to bash conservatives at least once per paragraph.

    Silly.

    • I think he made sure he put some of the "right" bashing in there to appease the OC liberals, lest they rise and burn him at the stake.

One thing that Soros did via media matters, was build a massive database of everyone in this Country and political leanings, political action, etc. That database is open to every America hating organization and they use that database to organize action. Ever wonder how they can get a couple hundred people to an event on short order? Now you know
