• I feel so much safer now, knowing that this man has been thoroughly checked for weapons of mass destruction. Those military guys, they're the real terrorists, you know. Nancy Pelosi told me so.

• Why are you surprised or upset? The TSA guy probably doesn't know what being a Marine means, why he has all that metal on him, or why the Marine has a handicap. You should have come home w/ us from Vietnam. Why is the Left doing insane things like this? Because they know you won't do anything to stop them. When is enough, enough? When the Constitution is not enforced, there is no Constitution. There is no difference in this travesty and allowing 11 million illegals in the country so they can become voters. Why are you people upset? Half the country voted for the Muslim/Communist man-child. We went to Vietnam to stop Communism & now they are here. I remember Nikita Khrushchev at the UN, taking his shoe of & banging it on his desk, saying they would bury us & they are. He said we would wake up one morning & we would have Communism. It's here folks. The water is almost too hot now for the frog to jump out of kettle. We tried to stop it over there. We tried to curtail it in Korea, but it's here, welcomed w/ open arms. When is enough, enough? The TSA is a symptom. As soon as Bush said he was going to organize the TSA, we all applauded not realizing it was just more bureaucracy to insulate the politicians from us. I remember that morning in 1962 when we could no longer pray in the classroom. It has been down hill from there. Some of the last words in the Book of Judges of the Bible are as follows, "And there was no king in the land, & the people did what was right in their own eyes." Israel had rejected her King, the LORD God (Jesus) & it wasn't that they believed nothing. It was that they believed anything.

• FYI this was amazingly on the local news here this morning. They had some TSA bonehead cheese apologizing and making the lame excuse the moron who was frisking him didn't know he was a war hero. Like the uniform and all the medals wasn't an effing clue. Then he said something about some wounded warrior check in program but they have to call in advance. I bet if you did you'd get another TSA moron who wouldn't have a clue what that was. They should get rid of these clowns. Nothing from Gestapo HQ in Sacramento, yet.

  • It's not like they ADVERTISE the wounded warrior check in program. And shouldn't it just be COMMON FRICKEN SENSE that if someone, ANYONE, says, my arm can't move that way due to an injury, you DO NOT try to force them to? I know, common sense and TSA are oxymorons.

  • Whoever made the call to carry the story on your local news will likely be job hunting very soon. The only thing they are sorry about is getting caught... no different from a common criminal.

• Sounds like this is not a TSA story so much as a petty bureaucrat story. If you read the story to the end you learn that he says the TSA screener wasn't so bad - it was the security sergeant at the California State Capitol who was rude and made him remove his uniform. That man should be fired immediately, but it is California so he'll probably get a bonus in his next paycheck instead.

• Disgusting. This ASS knew the Marine wasn't a damn terriost. He should've been given the thank you for your service treatment, and just waved on through.

• This administration is purposely inciting the American population and it continues to stir the pot until whole groups of people hate each other enough to start killing each other. We need to start praying massive amounts of prayers for this nation. Our nation is hanging by mere threads and Quagmire is busily cutting one after another. This contemptuous foreign born POS acts the way he does because he knows he's getting away with what he's doing. If we didn't have a bunch of boot licking Fabien socialist toadies hanging out in the Republican Party this crap would never have advanced to this point. We have way too many Americans comfortable with abortion, euthanasia, homosexuality and the advancing of it's agenda and now same sex marriage being given the go ahead by nine shyster lawyers in black robes. We are in so much trouble when super secret organizations with no real constitutional reason to even exist can run roughshod over the US Constitution and our rights and very few of us even look up from our daily grazing. • Maybe it's time for members of the military to honor their oaths to uphold and protect the constitution and round up the treason scheming swine currently in office. It seems just a tad short sighted in pursuing ones duties in a manner that will piss off members of the armed services. The sheer arrogance of our current political "leadership" seems to be the most likely cause of their eventual undoing. They're going to overreach and step on the wrong toes.

  • While I understand and agree with the sentiment, stinkfoot, it is illegal for those of us in uniform to do so. That would be more akin to a military coup, which would put us on par with Egypt and many Latin-American countries.

    • OK, even if there is no way around that, there is nothing that says veterans can't do something about it. But then, that might explain the attempts by this admin to nullify veterans rights.

      • These assholes are doing everything they can. Look at the waiting lines for the kids to get into the V.A. healthcare system. It seems this administration wants our young vets to get pissed off, or discouraged, and say to hell with it. The same with disability payments and other benefits like education. Things are so confusing and convoluted many of our young veterans are not taking advantage of what they earned, many can't because of the time involved getting approved.

        • You're exactly right Whiskey. I filed for my disability back in Nov, and I'm told I will have a decision some time between Feb and Aug of 2014! Then, if they hold true to firm, I will have to fight them, because I'm sure they will deny me.

        • I'm about to start the same fight. I'm getting close to retirement so I may as well get all I can get before the gooberment takes it away. At least my documentation is already in the works, any of us that were around that Agent Orange crap are elegible for 20% automatically. The fight will be how much more I should get for old wounds and injuries.

          I would recommend you get with a V.A. rep. that really knows the system and who to talk to. Your local D.A.V., V.F.W. or American Legion Post can point you in the right direction.

        • Well, when I was getting out, I brought this up and was told I wasn't eligible because I didn't go to the clinic right away, turns out that was a lie.
          I am a member of the American Legion, and the VA is aware, it is even listed in my claim.
          We'll see what happens.

        • Keep after the bastards! If you quit, they win and I can't stand to see any little pissant who never served a day in his life win anything. They ain't worth wiping our boondockers on.

        • Oh, don't worry, I won't quit. I have enough evidence to make the claim stick. I just wish I could locate the 2 guys that I worked with that were there when I was injured, but a signed affadavit from my ex-wife should carry some weight.

    • Technically you are right, morally I am not so sure. Remember the Oath we all take when we enlist? We swore to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Following the orders of the President and senior officers comes second. It seems to me protecting our country, our Constitution, comes first for a reason.

    • I do realize that. Unfortunately our government has become so corrupt as to afford us very few options for recourse. It has become increasingly obvious that the United States Federal government. together with quite a few state governments, has become illegitimate- particularly THIS administration- and has trampled the constitution sufficiently to render it null and void. In many ways we are on par with the worst of the banana republics.

• Here's yet another example of the high regard Quagmire and his minions hold our service members. May this TSA loser get a visit from some of this Marine hero's friends in the near future, he might even learn some respect, after they pull out all the stitches.
