“The View” wants to host a Republican debate

“The View” is attempting to host a daytime Republican candidate debate. “The View” seems to be a favorite show in medical waiting rooms – we think the intent is to make the patients feel even sicker. Now this den of leftist harridans wants to “host” a Republican debate, or as Mary Howitt once put it, “‘Will you walk into my parlour?’ said the Spider to the Flies…”

Bonfire of the Absurdities: After 35 year career writing software for IBM mainframes, am now self-employed contractor thinking of joining a union and striking for higher wages. Cured morbid fear of heights when I learned to look at them as lengths standing on end. Uncompromising in refusal to accept browser cookies. Amateur investor who has accumulated a small fortune in the market after starting out years ago with a large one. For recreation, I run, hike, kayak and play tennis but will not consider synchronized swimming under any circumstances.

  • THis is a very poorly run and prodeced fluff show. I hardly think ANY candidate should waste their time appearing there. Besides, they would get misquoted and torn limb from limb by Whoopi and Joy, who won't even let their own cohosts speak without yelling over them and interrrrupting them.

  • Instead - the Republican Party should invite "The View" to the Republican National Convention to do their show live - then let them set up in the parking lot.

  • What would be the point? Have the debate so Whoopi and Joy(less) can call Herman Cain an Uncle Tom? There is no upside to this idea unless the candidates can fight the hosts in a boxing ring, or maybe a WWF style free for all!

  • I would hope the Republican candidates steer away from that bubonic plague for all it's worth. They don't DESERVE to have a candidate on their show--period. Especially with that socialist/marxist liberal Aunt Jimmima lurking near by.
