Bonfire of the Absurdities: After 35 year career writing software for IBM mainframes, am now self-employed contractor thinking of joining a union and striking for higher wages.   • No conflict of interest here at all. What are the dim wits and all their leftist water carriers afraid of from the Koch brothers? It's funny to watch them all squirm when the Koch brothers just keep on keeping on. Makes all their blood pressure climb through the roof.

  • The demotards appear to be getting very scared about the midterms...full on panic mode to find a new suspect since the Bush card is pretty well worn out, and it looks like they are going into the full on batshit crazy mode on the Koch Brothers to try and do anything to keep from loosing the Senate....Now would be the time to run up behind a libturd senator, pop a paper bag and watch them poo their pants....

  • Mainstream press and media has served in a criminal capacity to enable the current regime... I'm beyond convinced of this. In a hypothetical revolution where the politicians of all party affiliations are rounded up to face charges, the job will not be complete until the so-called "journalists" are likewise apprehended and made to answer for their crimes... for consorting with the enemy and rendering aid and comfort in the battle against the American people.

    It isn't just WAPO... it's every single mainstream "news" source out there. Locally we have a CBS affiliate whose dutifully being the water bearer... among other things tirelessly imprinting on the populace the idea that corruption is strictly the domain of politicians who do not caucus with the Democrats. In a regional "news" item, it was reported that the Rhode Island Speaker had to resign his post after the FBI raided his office... and with a bit of research I confirmed my suspicions that he was a Democrat- because the article about his situation made no mention of his party affiliation. Interestingly, the very same article mentioned that he was the latest RI official to be wrapped up in a criminal investigation- the previous two politicians, one Republican and one Independent were identified first by their affiliations- then by the fact that both served prison sentences.

    There can be no denying the criminal doings of elected officials- regardless of party affiliation.. but it's the liberal thugs being aided and abetted by the criminal mainstream press and media. By virtue of their Conservative leanings the Koch brothers are going to be targets as long as people willingly such up the dishonest narrative served up by the likes of WAPO as well as the rest of the alphabet soup propagandist sector.

  • Dim wits can't run on their agenda and accomplishments. So they go after the Koch brothers because they don't cave to the dim wits. Guess blaming Bush has worn out.

  • The part that's really hard to swallow is that the Koch Brothers would benefit from Keystone, which would drive the price of oil down. However, WAPO reporters are not required to understand a subject before 'reporting' on it.

    • But their butt buddy Warren Buffet sure is benefiting from having to ship the oil by rail.

      • Bingo. But think of this, if the Keystone was built, Buffet would lose money on shipping oil from the Bakken. If that happens, he couldn't afford to offer $1billion to someone for a perfect NCAA basketball bracket. That is way more important then securing America's energy future.

    • Apparently, they are also not required to actually find the facts before they report on them.
