The wettest and now the COLDEST! Britons left shivering as temperatures plunge to -2C … as we braved the chilliest summer’s night for 40 YEARS. Sounds like the UK is enjoying those hot August nights. 28 degrees Fahrenheit? Brrrrrrrrr. Must be that global warming again.

It's CLIMATE CHANGE not global warming. ALL weather is related to climate change. Next major change will be this thing they refer to as Fall. It will start to get colder. People will turn on their gas or oil heaters, spewing out tons more CO2, and making it get even colder when Winter comes! Then, they will realize their folly and start using the heaters less and less, making it get warmer come Spring and Summer.
You also need to realize this has nothing to do with the changing seasons. ;-)
Yup, I witnessed climate change first hand yesterday... first the sun was shinign brightly then it started storming.

It's been a long, hot, dry summer here in southeast Wisconsin (and the rest of the Midwest). The worst summer since 1988. Is it global warming? It might be, but the Earth is going to do what it's going to do; we have no control of any change, no matter how many Chevy Volts we buy.
Google the Medieval Warm Period and the Little Ice Age.
And in th e1800's The ash and smoke fropm Karakatoa encircled the earth for decades, causing cooler temps. Maybe this is the real "normal. " THe earth has been around a VERY long time, and we have only been measuring about 110 years. Think we maybe don't know EVERYTHING?
When it erupted in 1991, Mount Pinatubo puked out more VOCs in three days than the United States and all of Europe did during the entire Industrial Revolution. Somebody has got to take responsibility for the volcanoes! I suggest starting with democrats, liberals and anybody else resembling a communist be cast into these gaping Earth killers to convince them to stop their abhorrent behaviors.

Been pretty cool here in New England too, but not terribly wet, aside from some downpour that may have been Isaac - related. Been waking up to low- 60s/upper 50s.
