• My nephew worked on the construction of this boondoggle, even back then they called it "The Bird Zapper", think of a bug zapper on a much larger scale.

• "...operators asked the federal government for a $539 million federal grant to help pay off the $1.6 billion loan it got from the Energy Department."

  Wait a minute, what? You can get a federal grant to pay off your federal loan? How do I get in on that scam?

  • People point to these things as an example of failure of capitalism, when in truth this is what socialism looks like. This is the height of marxist redistribution scheme. If this was entirely on the private sector this wouldn't stand.

  • We need to brainstorm on a "green energy" scam, so we can get in on the gravy train.
