Since many abortionists are black, or women of all races, the left can't rail against anyone who kills babies, even if they are white or a "white hispanic". If they went after one they would have to go after all and that would be against everything the leftists believe in.

MDILION is correct, the fatherless homes are the biggest reasons for the high crime rate in the black community. This came about due to the "War on poverty" by Lyndon Johnson. Until then, the fatherless homes in America was nearly nothing, this included all home. Once the free stuff started to flow, those with the slightest chance or less than stelar responsibility bailed and left their children to be raised by their own mothers, the baby's mama or some other female member.
Now you have "men" out fathering children with different women, many at the same time. All the while bragging about how many "ho's" they've knocked up. Just listen the music that many play.
No, many of the fathers do not participate in their sons and daughters activities but they certainly don´t oppose that either.
In western europe, muslim families are pretty strict, opinion of the family members weights a lot in the individual muslim´s decisions but in 1998 Paris, 2005 London and 2013 Stockholm, the youths still riots in the streets and burn cars.
There are "honor killings" for muslim females for "shaming" their families but never "honor killings" for muslims youth comitting a crime against the host society or locals.

Abortion and fatherlessness leading to gang violence are the two big problems in the black community. But when examined, the liberal devaluing of human life and the liberal attack on the family are shown to be destructive, and so they're not examined. What's worse, these evils show the so-called "Religious Right" to be correct on these issues and the press and the leftists HATE to admit that conservative Christian people are correct. I also say that as the push for same-sex marriage continues, liberals want no examination of their decades long attempt to replace the traditional family with alternative family structures.
Your post got me to thinking. The fatherless family is a two edged sword.
First, it keeps the disciplinarian out of a child's life. It is all carrot and no stick and I believe that is necessary in a child's life to grow up normal.
second, A child needs that discipline and they turn to the gang and its leaders for that father figure.
People seem to forget that the changes of the last 50 years are radical to the evolution of humans that has transpired over thousands of years. This just proves the futility of leftist social engineering and of that folly's unintended consequences.

I don't think it's a question of being a disciplinarian. Some fathers are and some aren't. What a child misses is the chance to watch and learn about what it means to be a man, something just as valuable to a young girl as to a young boy. When I think about my own childhood, what I took from my father was a tendency toward restraint, toward patience, toward accepting the bad with grace and dignity. Oh he could be fierce when riled, scary fierce, but it was the other stuff that taught me to be a man. When I see young toughs squaring off, fighting over turf, and generally acting like loud-mouthed punks, what I see is boys who never had a chance to emulate a man when it mattered... so now they're just guessing.
That is key.
Boys need a man to emulate, and guide them to be good citizens, husbands, and fathers. It is obvious that there isn't too much of that going on by the number of men wandering around impregnating anything in a skirt.
Girls need a man to show them how a real man treats a woman. It is obvious that there isn't too much of that going on by the number of women on Maury for the umpteenth time, trying to find the father of their baby. Not to mention the number of strippers and hookers, who obviously have daddy issues.
