Tom Steyer wants to know why the gas prices he jacked up are so high

• He's either profoundly retarded (and I use that in the actual clinical sense and not as an insult) or he thinks his voter base is.

• Steyer could care less about gas prices. He is heavily invested in green energy companies, which get most of their money from us tax payers, and as long as energy prices are high he makes a killing. He is in it for the money and in this case it is our money.

  Check out his views on coal production, before he was against it, the hypocrite made a ton of money on it.

• The article asks how this guy got to be a billionaire. Obviously he cheated. Which is probably what he is trying to do now. If I had to guess I'd say he's heavily invested in alternative energies that would be nowhere tech without government regulation forcing people to buy into it. So he is going to get into the government, where he can work to bring about this legislation, all the while telling people he is going to lower their gas prices. And California is just the state comfortable enough with double-think to give this guy his shot.
