TSA Paid $1.4 Million for App that Directs Travelers Left or Right in Lines

TSA Paid $1.4 Million for App that Directs Travelers Left or Right in Lines. This is what geniuses the TSA hires. They can’t figure out what line you should get in.

  • There is nothing the gov't cannot eff up, this is yet another example. Not like we hear needed one.

  • Does the app say, "This line is shorter but the person serving this line is an idiot so move to the other line."
HOw about, "Ha you think you are in the fast moving line don't you? Well consider this, when you are second in line, the person serving this line is going to go on a 45 minute break and you will be SOL."
    etc

    • You don't need this app, just find whatever line I'm in, and get in the other one. I have a knack for picking the worst line to get in.
One time I pulled up in a toll booth lane, and there was only one person in front of me. The one person that tried to pay a $1 toll with a $100 bill. The toll taker gave him his change in $1 bills. The guy sat there and counted his change. I couldn't change lanes because someone else had pulled in behind me.

  • Perhaps they should have spent money to ferret out the child molesters, terrorists and other criminals on their payroll first.

  • Another software program written by the Wookie's College friend? You know, the one who's company wrote the ACA website that cost billions.

  • The real question is, why are they using i-Pads, when reasonably priced hardware works just as well, if not better?

  • Why is directing people into various lines supposed to be random? I thought the idea was to keep the lines moving are efficiently as possible.
