WAR: Turkey entering Gaza conflict on side of Hamas. These are the same people with whom Lurch negotiated his ill-fated and quickly rejected cease fire proposal. Abandoning any pretense of neutrality once the U.S. Secretary of State was out of earshot, Turkey officially approved the formation of “Freedom Flotilla II” to re-supply Hamas and plans to protect the flotilla with the Turkish Navy.

  • I expect that I will soon will be able to dive on the wrecks of the Turkish Navy vessels protecting the resupply of Hamas with munitions and other commodities. I wonder if it will be as intriguing as the Japanese Third Imperial Fleet wrecks on the bottom of Truk Lagoon?

  • War? Not going to happen, israeli armed forces are far more powerful than the turkish ones in both nuclear and conventional terms.

    Maybe israel cannot invade mainland Turkey but it can seize Northern Cyprus in short notice, give it to the south in exchange for basing rights but I doubt that will happen.

    What the Turkish governement want is that the fleet is seized or sunk so it can rally support on public anger and outrage at home.

      There is this nasty thing called N.A.T.O., of which AmeriKa is the main contributor. You can bet that King Obama and his Muslim stooges in the Administration would totally enjoy attacking Israel in support of Turkey. Hamas would egg Turkey on, along with the UN. Israel is going to be forced to either ATTACK or surrender itself to "peace" talks.

      Israel COULD still defeat Hamas though. FLOOD THE TUNNELS! If Israel could pump about 2-3 acre/feet of Mediterranean per hour into the tunnel complex system, then Hamas would be crippled for at least 24-36 months. If they could keep the pumping going for a week (instead of just 24 hours) the time they could buy for themselves would be even longer. Then STOP all tunnel construction and smuggling into Gaza, along with building supplies arriving.

      Large sections of the tunnel complex would collapse, along with surface areas sinking. You cannot tunnel soft wet ground, nor give adequate support structures.

      Secondly; Israel needs to return fire, just like Hamas and Hezbollah sends it. An unguided rocket and mortar shell receives the same in return. Let the people of Gaza deal with Hamas. If they like Hamas, then let them eat rockets 24/7, just like the Israeli population does.

      • Turkey, even France and Britain couldn´t get a NATO intervention when FSA Shells landing in Turkish territory was blamed on the Syrian governement, why?
        Because the Syrian governement had VX gas and could send it to Paris, Bruxelle and London if needed be.

        So starting a fight with a nuclear power? Not likely! How would Britain´s police state far if an EMP pulse fried the entire CCTV surveillance network and police communication worthless? The streets would fill with millions of rioters faster than you can say "asian", "youth" or chav.

        What if EMP pulses and/or computer virus ruines all those computers running the european financial and transport systems?
        Euro would become worthless, trade would grind to a halt, waging war will become impossible real fast and some european countries would even face famines.

        Even assuming the submarines Germany sold are all sunk by the US navy before they are within range of New York, Washington DC and Chicago, Wall Street would still crash.
        Use of the FR dollar and hence taxation are going to see some major problems.

    • I don't see how Israel can allow that flotilla to enter Gaza. They can't allow Turkey to re-supply Hamas because they can't allow the precedent - the next boat will be full of Iranian rockets, sure as shit. So, given that, as soon as they stop that flotilla with the Turkish Navy escort, that's war whether we like it or not... unless the Turkish Navy escort backs away and runs for home instead of engaging. It's a fine mess Turkey is creating, that's for sure.

      • Simple, demand that the flottila be inspected with sniffer dogs and that kind of thing, they should know how to check out for anything wonky by now.
        If such demands are met with refusal, it would be much more difficult for Turkish gov to claim victimhood.

        These tunnels have existed for months at least, maybe for years. So any supplying to Hamas happened a while ago.

        Van Rompuy, Cameron and Obama will be the ones taking the heat.

        I have an idea. We board the boats, confiscate the arms, and replace them with the flood of illegals we are trying to find housing for! They think it’s so bad back home, they should love it in Gaza!

    • I TOTALLY AGREE.... Would love to see Israel blow the living shit out of any of the flotilla boats, just as soon as they enter the 3 mile limit. Give them ONE warning and a shot over the bow - then SINK THEM!

      The Turks would rage and declare war - and who cares? That was the plan all along, to involve AmeriKa and King Barky. AmeriKa to the rescue of Muslims - an old tiresome song. Carter, Clinton, Bush 2 and now King Barky - they all want to rescue the Muslims. Kill a few million of the nasty pedophiles and let the Mohammedans reconsider their world conquest aspirations.
