101 Tory MPs demand that the £400 million-a-year subsidies paid to the “inefficient” onshore wind turbine industry be “dramatically cut”. Critics say wind energy is undependable (unlike politicians, wind doesn’t blow constantly), wind farms are unsightly and are driving up energy bills during already difficult economic times. Guess they’re tired of ponying up blood money to run the A/C at Al Gore’s mansion.

I don't know, Windmills have been the lifeblood of farms and ranches in Texas for generations. But ours have wider blades (to catch the slightest breeze,) and are MUCH shorter, so they son't spoil the view. In fact many think they enhance it! Besides, ou r windmills are self powering (well, with the wind of course.) Some batttery company keeps advertising that they provide batteries to wind farms? What for? Aren't they producing their OWN energy?
The next Idea liberals will come up with is attaching conservatives to the blades to spin around until all the spare change comes out of their pockets.."to make things fair"....
Wind mills suck, they can produce low frequency sound waves which sicken people who have the misfortune to live near them, their spinning blades kill birds and bats by the thousands, they're ugly and dominate the landscape---and they don't produce cheap, reliable electricity.
In a rational society, not ruled by crony politics and governhment subsidies, the damn things would never survive.

Just driving past a wind farm makes my blood pressure rise. It feels like they’re taunting me.
One can but hope this is the start of a world wide trend.
