Reminds me of 6 years ago. I had guys coming over to watch a game and grabbed keys and cash to go get beer and pretzels. The kid at Speedway told me she couldn't sell me beer without ID. I couldn't get mad at her, she was just following the "rules", but I was pretty peeved. Thankfully the manager came out and told her it was OK, she knew me. As the manager rang up my stuff I just blurted out to her,"It's easier in this country for my 13 year old daughter to get an abortion without me knowing about it than it is for me to buy beer without my drivers license and I'm 40 years old. And ya know what? That's pretty f-ing sad." That was then and here, what comes after sad?

I'm living in England, however this is not my born country. I find their famous NHS just horrible institution, what, however, English people never understand. Did their government washed their brains?
Especially hate them in terms of their medical care. I got that implant as well and can't wait till have it taken out. Of course, as it is said every person is different, but when I look through the forums or speak with my 'implanted' friends, they all admit - it is just horrible to have it. Weight gain, depression, insomnia, bleeding, hair loss, extreme changes in emotions, hard to concentrate, laziness, stomach pain, breast pain, arm pain etc ..
However, before I got that implant inserted i was told 'the side effects re much smaller than benefits of it'. Hell no!
Besides, I have seen few articles about how dangerous it might be for young women, especially if their never been pregnant before. That is what qualified doctors from my country says, and they underline that the only exception for inserting contraceptive implants for young ladies is the presence of endometriosis.

How do people not get that there are real health consequences with this? What is merely a chance of happening with an adult woman could have colossal effect on a pubescent girl. A girl that age is still developing. Next thing you know, the girl is 20 or 30 and is now infertile because of the hormones they gave her or the inter-vaginal device that scared her cervix. If that were my kid, I would sue whoever decided this was a proper thing to do on behalf of my kid. AND I would charge them with statutory rape, kidnapping, crimes against humanity, etc. I mean, doctors can't even wipe a kid's nose without a parent or guardian's permission, nor can kids take a damn aspirin at school without a doctor's note and a trip to the nurse. how the hell can the schools get away with this??
That is something else to consider besides the STD's that these things do not prevent. EVERYTHING can go wrong with this, this is the reason I was against Perry and his mandate to vaccinate the girls. A child can seriously be in great danger for her life or even have an unfulfilled life due to this. I don't understand this world and why we are not taking care of our children? We are putting too much power into the hands of governments. I do agree with Romans 13, but nowhere does it say that we have to give all of our freedoms into the hands of government. That is a great danger for all.
For every increase in government power, there is a corresponding decrease in the power of the people.

I couldn't agree more with you, StrinaM. I can't help but notice all the lawyer commercials I've seen over the years asking people to sue over the health consequences of contraceptive implants.
Its socialist England, thats how they get away with it, for years too.

This is disgusting! This in my opinion is rape and violation of the body of these girls and their lost of innocence. Ok so there could be girls that were wanting to sex it up, but you cannot tell me all of them want or were even thinking about sex. This is very disgusting and parental rights are not respected. England is out of control and that is their fault because they have completely missed the mark. We are going the same route.

Nope. As even if pregnancy is avoided there is still STDs to worry about and they are not even thinking of the emotional desert that awaits them for those who were mentally and spiritually unprepared. They are all out of control. I even believe this can have pedophile fingerprints all over it. Pedophiles love to sexualize children and to be free from consequences. The schools are making it easy for children to be targets and all without the parents knowing. It is very dangerous.
This is probably one reason why their government disarmed them - and why our current leaders want to disarm Americans. It is certainly justification for avoiding all contact with public school systems.
