• Utterly bizarre and insane. I tracked down one of the references, provides some more info:

  HOWEVER: NONE of this indicates that this is being done by any other entity than the government of Kenya, and Global Warming is NOWHERE mentioned. The only reference I found to the UN was one delegate who was trying to STOP this.

  • You know, if it would make it easier for me to find a nice goat roast in the supermarket, I'd say yes. Put them in National Parks, grazing land that has been locked up for decades.

      • Back when my ex and I were raising goats, that's actually one of the ways we decided which one went in the freezer. The nicest, most compliant ones were kept for milking, breeding, and pets. If one had a bad personality, it went in the freezer.

• Population control in Africa? Asia is has a population density 2.8x that of Africa (and that includes Siberia, which is about the size of USA + Canada, and has about 112 people living in it), and Europe is 2.4x more densely populated.

When 99% of sub-saharan Africa is a big park for the environmentalists to visit when they want to get away from their 10,000 s.f. redwood palaces in northern CA?
