UN official: Western nations “don’t need more cars, more TV, whatever.” The UN party clowns are gearing up for another “environmental conference” (i.e. vacation at taxpayer expense.) What we really don’t need is any more UN boondoggles. What we really do need is to move UN HQ to Havana or Pyongyang.

Anyone got a small plane? I would love to do a "bombing mission" at the U.N. I could drop a few old TV's that I don't need anymore....
So what war does the UN want to get the US Military involved in? Another Korea? Another Vietnam? Or just Syria and Egypt?

PH, the UN does serve a purpose. That is to make sure that when there is a war, that there is no clear winner, so nothing ever gets resolved. Need examples? Let's start with the 1st war they were involved in, the Korean War. They got involved, & we now have a divided nation with the communist north still being a total pain in the ass. Another example would be Iraq. Bush41 goes into Iraq w/ the UN, & then instead of finishing off Saddam, they leave him in power & set the table for another war. We have not finished off a war since WW2, & we need to start finishing off conflicts that others start with us.

God save us from tiresome UN officials and their half-assed pronouncements. Helen Clark is the former PM of New Zealand and a socialist so, of course, she knows what's best for everybody.
The best thing the UN can do is disband itself. If that's not possible then the democratic nations (USA, Canada, Japan, India, Australia, England, Germany, etc.) should leave it and form a new international organiation. We should no longer tolerate worthless crap from the likes of Zimbabwe, Iran, Russia, China, Venezuela, Cuba and Syria.

I have to agree. I wouldn't have been very devastated if the UN had fallen to pieces and I would not be in a hurry to have it rebuild. I would mourn the loss of any innocent civilians of course.
I love it when people that have nothing to do with me and don't know me and what I want out of life tell me what I can or cannot have because I don't in their estimation "need it".
