Uniter president achieves historic divisiveness

Divider, not uniter: Obama’s 3rd year is the most polarized presidential 3rd year by a wide margin. Must be all that reach-across-the-aisle sweet talk of his. Stay tuned – a president’s 4th year is generally his worst in this regard.

Bonfire of the Absurdities: After 35 year career writing software for IBM mainframes, am now self-employed contractor thinking of joining a union and striking for higher wages. Cured morbid fear of heights when I learned to look at them as lengths standing on end. Uncompromising in refusal to accept browser cookies. Amateur investor who has accumulated a small fortune in the market after starting out years ago with a large one. • Clinton was the first president who consciously and intentionally went into "divisive mode". Every time he'd step in front of the camera and lie like a rug, he knew damn well that Rush, Hannity, WSJ, Drudge et al would call him on it.

He didn't care. He had absolutely no desire to reach out to anyone other than the 40% who would vote for a macaque if that's who the Dems nominated, and 10.1% of that middle 20% who have disguised (even to themselves) their own ignorance with the cloak of "impartiality" or "non-paritsanship".

He wasn't about to try to convince the right on any of his positions, wasn't about to enter into any debates, or discuss any compromises. For all he cared, we could all drop dead. He had zero desire to include the right in any aspect of governing.

That is the new modus operandi of the Democrat party.

      • Correct in every way. And now he spews the new bubbablab about how bad that sort of behavior is. The damned democrats have become so entrenched in the written radical instructions of alinsky. The whole thing, every turn is whatever item they can hammer to garner the greatest effectual points, turn every point into an argument, change the point when they start to lose favor on that point and then prevaricate. Stay on the offense no matter what they have to lie about or how disjointed their argument is. Cause their target to seemingly lose by changing the topic. It really is just the typical liberal asshole style of arguing! A quick and simplistic study on this subject can be had just by reading the spinning load of crap that oblovia spews here.

        • I just flipped on "60 Minutes" and they are going to do a piece on Leon Panetta. Coincidence after the announcement last week to gut the military? Of course not. This is the first step to sell us on this nonsense. The true believers will buy it. They will make him out to be a swell guy.

      • There is no difference. The msm is the largest tool in use by the progressive movement to bring the US down to a controllable condition for the global occupation. The media has its orders and they originate from the same place that solyndra gunwalker's orders come from; the ruling class elitists. We haven't had many politicians in office anywhere that aren't approved - nay - anointed for their positions, certainly not the white house in 3 decades.

  • If you ask any old persons, they'll tell you global warming is bull. I talked to my Mimo ( Grandma don't laugh) today and she made the point that this winter is just like 1933.She called me,my brother and all my cousins to tell us this because she didn't want us worrying about global warming. Seriously, this lady is too awesome. She would make Van Jones and Al Gore her bitches because she can back up her statements with life experience instead of deliberately distorted yet widely believed facts.

  • Ok, so now we are supposed to grant "Dear Leader" platitudes as being a leader among men even after Comments like "We will punish out enemies"?
How about we impeach his ass, would save a lot of paperwork.

      • it's a virus that spreads itself through universities and research organization that depend on tax dollars for grants that continual allow it to grow from nonsense into mainstream ideology: AKA; goreBS

        • Your doggie is adorable! I have been trying to figure out what breed, my first guess would be a Newfie mix? Or possibly a Flat Coat Retriever?

          • you were almost dead on the first guess. He is 100% Newfoundland out of Black wolf kennels. Have two, love them!

          • Oh so close!

Well he is just beautiful! My family had a retriever/newf mix, who looked alot like your doggie. Best dog we ever had, although my lab runs a close second. Everytime i see your avi it reminds me of my old dog, good memories. :)

          • Personal belief only but I think dogs provide the best of memories. Glad you have those memories and hope your furry friends in the future provide many more : )

  • It's still not polarized enough yet. We will not get rid of this regime at election time if there enough "go along to get along" types on the right. It's time to understand that the left will never like the right, they will never accept what the right says, & they allow the right to exist in their world, but only on their terms. It's sort of like dhimmitude.

I hope for more polarization, near the boiling point, & the wholesale rejection of Obama's agenda, his ideas, & those politicians who support them. I also want the rejection of MSM types who lick Obama's ass. I want them gone, out of buisiness. It's not good enough to margionalize them like Phil Donahue, Bill Press, or Keith Olbermann, I want them gone once & for all. Out of the buisiness, period.
