A few selected thoughts:
1. Low solar activity.
WHAT? You mean solar activity has something to do with climate change? How is that possible? I thought only humans cause climate change!

Every now and then, these morons/pernicious snots (pick one), (or both, what the hell), make your argument for you. Reminds me of a reply to a comment i made ages ago on another board - about Switzerland having so many guns and almost no murders. Guy's replay was - "you can't compare [USA and Switzerland] ... completely different cultures". Which is exactly the point we repeat over and over - it's not the guns, it's the culture, which is a synonym for people.
This is exactly the argument that real scientifically grounded doubters of AGW (note: NOT "GW", but "AGW"), regularly make. Though you wouldn't know it by listening to the lying warmists, or the lying media. According to them, the entirety of the opposition is a bunch of people looking at high temperatures, and saying "no, it's not hot", or claiming that H Katrina, or H Sandy never happened.
The main argument of the warmists lies in the PROJECTIONS of what happens as a result of a small (1 deg C or a little less) warming. They claim that it will set off a chain reaction of climactic events that will ultimately result in a global catastrophe. The basis for this, claimed as science, is pulling a bunch of hypotheses out of their collective asses.
So I am glad to see they are coming around to agree with the sane side of the argument.
36) The models really do explain the "pause"
They do? What models? I never saw or heard of any of them. I do recall an awful lot of statements claiming that the polar ice cap was supposed to be totally melted by now, and small Pacific islands swallowed by the sea. Why did no one ever make these models public?
40) The "pause" is "probably just barely statistically significant" with 95% confidence
In the grand scheme of things, that is probably true - which is not at all saying that a. there is a long term global warming trend (meaning by long term something on the order of multiple centuries), nor b. that any human activity is causing it, either in whole or in part.
But it's interesting that they talk about 95% confidence. You can't get any level of confidence in a projection that has no precedent (meaning AGW). And that is exactly what they are doing in projecting what the secondary effects will be of a small increase in temperature (see comments on 26 above). If you can't establish a mathematical level of confidence, then what you have is pure speculation - NOT science.
It's also reinforces my observation of the difference between climate (long-term), and weather (short-term, random), according to the warmists -
A 20-30 year trend of no warming is just "weather". One particularly strong tornado is "proof of climate change."
51) If our models could time-travel back in time,
Translation: "Damn, we should have thought of this possibility and made up some bullshit back then so we wouldn't look like effin' morons now!"
About the only thing that's increasing is the amount of bullshit and grasping at straws these buffoons keep trying to explain as "settled" science. It was much warmer during the Roman era then it is now, so what caused that, burning too many Christians on the cross?
For "pause", read "cessation".
Let none of us forget that the current Holocene interglacial is merely a "pause" between the last and the next ice ages, and the "pause" between the last (and previous) Ice Ages, known as "Interglacials", have all come to an end with the onset of the following ice age.
So, in essence, whatever is happening now, will eventually "pause" (or cease). That's the way of the world.
We should be hopeful that this "pause" in our current, beneficial and benign (though likely cooling) climate, is temporary, and hope to God that the cessation in warming isn't permanent, and we find ourselves in the depths of a permanent winter ere long.
When there is no warming it is due to AGW.
AGW is so important that the lack of warming is no reason to not spend trillions of dollars.
I didn't notice the Evil Koch Brothers on the list, so they must not have consulted Harry Reid.

The interdecadal Pacific oscillation (IPO or ID) displays similar sea-surface temperature (SST) and sea-level pressure (SLP) patterns, with a cycle of 15–30 years, but affects both the north and south Pacific.
The Climate Clingers have all kinds of time to come up with excuses since there is no globull warming, I mean what else to they have to do?
