This thing isn't even a gas station, it's a compressed natural gas service station. Does anyone want to take a bet on how many of the goat fu**ers own a car that uses compressed natural gas?
The clowns investigating said a similar station was built in Puckistan for a "mere" $500,000 so they are thinking there may be some fraud involved in the Assghanistan deal, which any damn fool knows is true. Someone stuffed a ton of our tax money in their pockets. I would like to know where the half million went for the deal in Puckistan. My first question still holds true, how many goat fu**ers own a car that uses compressed natural gas?

BTW...I think if anyone digs deep enough, this will be shown to be part of Pres. Screw Up's War on Global Climate Change. Or whatever it's being called this week. How much did it cost us to retrofit the American embassy in Vienna with a charging station and switch out all the cars to Volts? Hopefully not THIS much...but it's all part of the same agenda...I'd bet money on it.
From what I can find it cost $108,000 for the charging station in Vienna, I couldn't find out how many scratch-n-burn Volts they bought. Still, one hell of a lot less than was wasted on a service station nobody will ever use.
Oh, and the dummies at MSNBC probably don't know the difference between a gas station pump and a compressed natural gas setup, hence the picture.

Things like this used to confuse me until I had the misfortune to do some business with the government. Now I understand why a hammer costs $600.00 and a toilet seat costs 1,400.00 and a simple gas station costs $43M. The hammers actually cost about $10.00/each, the toilet seats maybe $20. The gas station I'll take a guess at $200K. The rest is to pay for the countless reams and reams of paperwork required by a myriad of "agencies" and "bureaucrats" (that serve no function). Progress reviews by other hoards of bureaucrats trying to justify their existence, EEO audits, and of course the big expense is the kickbacks to procurement bureaucrats and politicians. Off hand, I'd say the $43 million is cheap. The contractor probably lost his ass.

Gas stations average $0.03 profit per gallon of gas. That means the payback on $43 million in construction is a mere 1,433,333,333 million gallons. If you assume the average customer buys 15 gallons, you need 95,555,555 customers. At 100 customers/day, that's 955,555 days, or 2,617 YEARS to recover the initial investment.
All that assumes that the U.S. DOD owns it and is making any kind of profit on the sales.
You are forgetting the goat meat and other snacks they sell in the convenience store. They will have their payback in less than 2000 years for sure.

Why can't this kind of money be used for veteran's care INSTEAD of building a Jihad Service Station?
