Who is supposed to bring some semblance of order? The new Ukrainian gov't, supported by the Obmana adinistration, is doing squat about it.
This administration wanted to bring Ukraine into NATO to further isolate Russia. But Yanukovich turned back to Russia for alliance. So the US meddled, and helped change gov't's.
Republican overseas meddling; Granada, Nicaragua, Chile.
Democrat overseas meddling: Iran, Lybia, Bosnia, and now Ukraine.
And of course, we have Vietnam. As admitted by the VC, the US was on the brink of victory during the Nixon administration. But the US pulled out, and then the dem's pulled the rug out from under the South Vietnames, and then snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
Ukraine will get worse before it gets better. A lot worse. A LOT worse. Unless Russia actually says to hell with world opinion and moves in, this will eclipse Rwanda and Congo, maybe combined.
But typical of libs, they don't give a rat's ass about people. Ukrainians are nothing but a mass of numbers, a concept whose purpose at this time happens to be to distract from the Obmanacare disaster and the weakest economic recovery ever, and boost Obmana's approval ratings by making him look like a real president.

What is Heinz- Kerry and quagmire going to do? The Olympics are over, Heinz- Kerry has a dock for his boat. Quagmire can't even bother with getting involved in Benghazi. Putin saw the red line in the sand in Syria by quagmire and knew right then, he could do what ever, when ever.
IMHO, Putin took the measure of the feminine Obama when King Barky the Incompetent left Poland out to dry by removing the missile defense shield unilaterally.
"Additional consequences"? Additional to what - the "severe repercussions" which were threatened last week?

Talk in Washington is that if Russia invades the rest of Ukraine Putin's Netflix account will be terminated. Permanently!
