  • This cannot be real. It just can't be. There were no cops in some town when a woman called to ask for protection from her ex boyfriend who raped her and shocked her. They were available though the next morning to pick him up after the fact. Here we have 7 FREAKING AGENTS of law enforcement tracking one girl in case she had beer? Jumping on her car and drawing a weapon, jailing her? I mean... how is this normal?

    IS THIS INSANE WORLD? ARE WE LIVING IN INSANE WORLD?

  • Okay so the cops over reacted by every stretch of the imagination. They thought she had beer? Christ at worst that's what? an infraction, maybe a misdemeanor? Seven guys chase a woman thru a parking lot at night and then make it even worse by putting her in jail. I hope that she retains an attorney and sues these stupid pricks for violation of her civil rights and every other damn thing they can. I swear it use to be that my profession was mostly honorable except for the occasional moron cop who went sideways, now it seems to be the rule in some places. These idiots should ALL be fired. Period. They are acting like gestapo, not police.

    What would have been wrong with ASKING to talk to her, looking in the bag, seeing she did not have beer and letting her go with an explanation?

    In recent years most departments have LOWERED standards to get more applicants, and two things still get you thrown off any hiring list, lying and drugs, but now we have cops who "tried" pot, some have sealed juvenile records and more...All to meet some ass-hat politicians idea if a quota. The military has the same problem.

    This pisses me off to no end. I have spent my entire career using my head and not getting into trouble and these seven dickwads just set back policing ten years. I would like to personally kick their ass. I wish I was their chief, They would all be on administrative leave asap.

    By charging this girl with assault they are trying to cover their ass. They caused the problem and now she has been victimized twice. God what moron's these cops are. They make me embarrassed to be in the same profession, and I posted the same thing at one of the law enforcement websites that covered the story. There were idiots on their who said she should not have tried to get away and it was her fault...Again morons...Arrrrrrrrggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh!

    • They were Alcoholic Beverage Control agents. Usually kids recruited from the groups of snitches that turned in their friends for underage drinking.

      • This is insane to me. Meanwhile in another part of the country there are 0 cops to answer a call from a woman fearing she is about to be raped or killed.

      • Great beer cops, the ones in Kalifornia are real talented......They are beer cops cause the could not get into a real police department.....

      • Yea just like some other countries, (MEXICO) where the cops want to get paid off and are complete jerk offs and never follow the law. Damn glad my career is almost over. This kinda crap makes me wanna pull out my hair....
